Workiva simplifies complex work
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can access Workiva from any device and that I can trust that my linked documents are updating properly. The initial set up of Workiva is a breeze and the implementation and customer success support is fantastic. If you need a solution, more than likely it can be built within Workiva.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Workiva is the cost of the platform. The solutions also limit what can be done in the platform, even if a user is willing to build the process from scratch. They are constantly improving the platform, so any functionality limitations are addressed quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva helps me prepare, review, and distribute monthly financial reporting packages, debt reporting packages, and annual audited financials. Workiva also houses any and all accounting memos and flow charts.
Wonderful company
What do you like best about the product?
The system is remarkably simple to use and extremely user friendly. In the few times I require help their customer service is exceptionally prompt.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. While not expensive to begin with, i guess it could be cheaper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to complete SEC reporting in-house, saving on very high outsourcing costs.

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is a tool that give you the possibility to work at the same time all the members of a team in the same document. Yes, in theory there are a lot of programs that give you this possibility, but here it works!! Also the integration that do with a text and different tables is perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, truly workiva change the work form of our department, making it more flexible and quickly to react in case of any change. So, I only can dislike that We only use a 10% of the possibilities that give you this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves that you can work with your document in anywhere in anytime, you only need a internet connection, and in the same time that your colleges. You can use a sheet in different text document to ensure that the number information is the same in all the documents.
Workiva Solutions Increases Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva solutions increase efficiency and will keep your employees sane, since data collection in large corporations can be difficult to manage without a solution like Workiva.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. Workiva continues to innovate and constantly improve their solutions and customer experiences. I think they will continue to adapt to the needs of large organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without a solution like Workiva, it is challenging to get information needed, with documentation of review, to be combined in one spot/document. I work with Workiva's ESG solution.
Great editor and managing tool for financial reporting
What do you like best about the product?
WDesk is an excellent tool designed to facilitate financial reporting but not only. The collaborative feature enables users to make and see changes in the documents real time, perform reviews with option to insert comments with all the edit trails visible. It mimics the Word and Excel functionalities with the great data sync option from external sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are being discontinued over time, for example Certifications is being phased out and included instead as part of Processes. Perhaps, more heads up to the users should be given before discontinuing a feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WDesk is a great time saver when it comes to editing financial statements. In addition it constantly adds new features that contributes to increased performance in my department.

What do you like best about the product?
Fast-changing wording from all parties without having to extract the document - Track changes and comments are helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of some tools (color management...), not compatible with a word document when extracted, view on track changes can be improved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative part - very helpful in terms of organization between all parties into our company (No flying email from everyone based on not up-to-date document, etc)
A very close replica tool like Microsoft Excel with some added features
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva helps to capture real-time updates from various users at the same time without getting slowed down or crashing. It automatically saves the documents which is beneficial in case you forget to keep and there is a sudden power loss.
What do you dislike about the product?
Someone using microsoft excel would find certain functions not available with workiva. I also encountered challenges in editing microsoft documents in workiva and had to create a new replica in workiva from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva acts as a depository for us where we save all the required documents. It saves us in saving documents on local drives. Also because we have global users, accessing shared drives can be slower for offshore users however with workiva that is not the case. There are no delays or lags in accessing the folders or files.
Workiva: A powerful tool for independent reporting
What do you like best about the product?
We have been on the Workiva platform for the last 10 years. The control over our documents and ease of reporting it provides is second to none.
What do you dislike about the product?
Features in the general folder layout and multi document functionality
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making XBRL more dynamic for tagging and review.
A good tool to track and manage audits with some capabilities for reporting as well.
What do you like best about the product?
The history section of individual requests/ tasks and the ability to collaborate on items.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is less intuitive in terms of guiding to sections that a user may be specifically interested in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very helpful in tracking and collaborating on items. These are some features I have used the most. There would definitely be other good things. Other than that, basic reporting also is very helpful
