Easy Financial Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of workiva is the linking functionality. The linking between the sheet and the word doc eliminates hardcoded errors and makes it easy to review.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes workiva can be glitchy and the comments are difficult to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistent financial reporting and direct linkage to the SEC.

I love how you are able to integrate data into various locations or types of documents.

Dislike some of the pushes for wData instead of aiding in solutions for the types of data we have.

Solving reporting issues and making SEC reporting easier.
Good data, always up to date, and accurate. Support is easy to use and helpful.

It has the modules I need to complete the appropriate research.

I have to upgrade my subscription to turn on more features.

What do you like best about the product?
Seamless integration, really user-friendly, great for collaboration

There are no real downsides to using Workiva for SEC Reporting.

Track changes make it easy to make updates to our financials, especially when the numbers recur throughout the document
I use Workiva on a daily basis to collaborate with co-workers on business presentations.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of Workiva is that colleagues can work together in real time, and leave each other comments within documents, that can easily be addressed/resolved and marked as such once complete.
It is also helpful that you can track different versions of files so that any historical versions or comment discussions can be retrieved at any time.

What do you dislike about the product?
The site can run a bit slow if you have multiple documents open at once. Sometimes if I have a file open for a longer period of time, there will start to be delays and the website will begin to crash, forcing me to restart the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is helping to solve the problem of version control when circulating documents for review amongst different levels of management. This benefits me as I can spend less time reviewing documents in Word, worrying about formatting changes going unnoticed, etc. which ultimates enhances quality control.

Setting up of Dashboard, Overview to D&I to Round 1 , Round 2 and YE smooth Testing phases, Review and monitoring on control languages, Real time change in RCM

Change management should also be setup, like version control over Controls or RCMs like the feature in narrative management

The customer call center is an extremely helpful benefit as the trained professionals are excellent about helping you with whatever troubles you are experiencing.

There are occasional technical glitches and the price point is high.

Workiva is our company's tool for SEC filings, SOX certifications and more.

The links to outside documents, particularly excel, are very helpful.

Personally, I have experienced a lot of glitchiness. Site stops loading, links not working, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to link worksheets and documents is extremely helpful with our line of work. The ability to organize in workiva and be efficient is unmatched. We also love the abiltiy to work together on the same file at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be slow and hard to work on. Maybe a desktop app coming in the future? Also should be able to copy and paste without a client! I do not like that feature at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A Central point for our team to store and efficiently work on files together. This has been our saving grace for organization and efficiency in our organization.
