Workiva makes financial and ESG reporting so much easier!
What do you like best about the product?
Linking, linking, linking!! Knowing we have a single source of data is key to integrity in reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike but I see room for improvement in Workiva' abilities to publish ADA compliant PDFs, including with background text capabilities. Also the ability to upload images into presentations without losing the cropping that is in an original PPT file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting in tight time frames. We've recently integrated internal monthly management reporting into Workiva and it's making the process so much simpler.
Adds efficiency to a manual process.

Links enable us to be consistent amongst multiple documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Increase use of users drastically increases run time and lags the webpage.

Exceptional reporting tool!
What do you like best about the product?
My team loves that multiple users can be in the document simultaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workiva can be glitchy at times, but the frequency has been declining.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Historically, we have used Workiva mainly for our SEC reporting needs. However, our Internal Audit team has recently started using the tool for SOX and advisory/operational audits.

What do you like best about the product?
The tool is intuitive, easy to use, and the customer support is above average.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Section 16 version of wDesk needs updating.

The tie-out functionality in Workiva is a new tool that is working well.

Suppor team is amazing, also appreciated live updated and reporting.

At times it takes some going back and forth but ultimately we get an answer.

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva has been a great partner and it is easy to use. We have not had many problems but we have enjoyed it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, we do not have much that we do not like. We did have an issue in Q2 2022 but I believe it was resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is helping our group complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner. We have alot of tasks that we have and we are more productive because of it. It has been great.
Workiva is a good collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to collaborate with many different employees in our organization. Workiva makes it easy for multiple people to work on one document at the same time and provide comments to each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how clunky the software can be. May times I wish the tool was as seamless as a Microsoft Word document or PowerPoint, but the formatting tools and ribbons can be frustrating to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is solving the problem of requiring many people to work on the same document simultaneously. It helps us all collaborate all together without worrying that a document will not include certain updates or comments from users.

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is great for automation of text and dates, especially seeing how our organization's financial reporting process used to be extremely manually, using Microsoft Word and Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our organization's financial reporting process is very unique in that our entities each have financial statements and footnotes that vary depending on the entity's operations and structure. As such, we have been using the content placeholder functionality in Workiva; however, this tool is still in beta and has many improvement opportunities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned above, the content placeholder is new to Workiva. We provide feedback to the developers as we get more experienced in using content placeholders; however, updates are not coming out as quickly as hoped. The good thing is we are learning along with our consultant and our feedback will provide improvement for not only our organization but others using content placeholders as well.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything can be linked to different statements, working papers, paragraphs, foot-notes, making it easier to change amounts and naming conventions when required without the hassle of needing to looking through the whole statement to implement changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the size of the statements, the different tabs, and functions, Workiva can be pretty slow at times and may lag; therefore would appreciate that being fixed earlier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is solving the slowing down of the website during times when multiple teams are in the same statements. It will benefit our team as they are trying to reduce lag.
