User-friendly Software
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is built in such a way that the user can work seamlessly. The latency rate is very minimal though we work on the web portal of this software. If you have a good internet bandwidth then you can work on it with 100% efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some areas of this software are found to be not used. I feel it can be redesigned in such a way that the user can have limited access to the area where he/she has to work on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva has replaced the documentation which where done in excel workpapers previously and this had made the user to easily update the audit evidences directly into the webportals and it is reliable to review as well.

Ease and automation of financial reporting; outstanding support staff, especially around XBRL and filing

None noted - all features worked well and as expected

Certifications make life easy
What do you like best about the product?
I love using the certification tool to document confirmation from control owners for not only quarterly control certifications but also specific controls where we want to evidence review and approval of certain processes. The ability to roll them forward and include the same signors and then make whatever modifications are needed is a huge time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel like the site is lagging and takes a while to load a new page when I'm trying to update access or documentation but that could also be my internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Housing all of our testing evidence and our risk and control matrix so that we can make real-time changes and have multiple team members from Internal Audit and Accounting able to view and edit narratives.
Workiva increases efficiency and gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
Polished and modern user interface, highly precise formatting capabilities, and ability to link data between documents/sources that makes audit trail efforts a breeze
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any major complaints about Workiva

Workiva has completely satisfied the need for version control and audit-ability of financial disclosures
Simple and effective SaaS Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Simple, intuitive workflow and screens. Saas Solution so no maintenance on client end

Wdata chain error information is very little.

Data collection from various sub-ledgers along with GL and manual adjustments
Great platform for reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the efficiency and great customer success manager as any issues arise. Workiva is easy to navigate and makes the reporting process smoothly each quarter.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes formatting in Workiva can be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me as I am able to grant access to multiple people on the reporting team and they are able to go within Workiva and make updates as necessary. Workiva has also significantly improved our flux analysis process.
Collaborative and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva allows us to work collaboratively in our draft financial statement filings cross-functionally, which has resulted in time savings and increased reliability through better version control. The functionalities within the platform that support linking between data workbooks and financial statements provide us with the ability to efficiently and reliably update data as needed. The XBRL and support team have always been incredibly responsive, which has been essential to supporting on-time filings.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve, which can be daunting for some unfamiliar with the platform. The investment was worth it for our primary users, but getting others into the tool for drafting was a bit of a battle. Finding the right mix of understanding balanced against responsibilities was critical.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva helps us efficiently and reliably move from financial close through the drafting and filing of our financial statements and other regulatory filings.

The app. is user friendly and helps reduce the amount of time for preparing our SEC reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The site can be buggy/glitchy at times causing there to be delays in links being created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva gives us the flexibility to create new tables or adjust our reports in a timely manner especially when last minute changes come in.
Great functionality and ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
Great ease of use. Easy to share information with internal reviewers. Efficient. Great access to learning and best practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Spreadsheet formulas are limited and do not yet support all those available in Excel. However, the ones available are beneficial.
