Data management is not a big deal
What do you like best about the product?
It was very tough for me to collect the data and to compile the data manually, sometimes it was full of mistakes and I had too much work load that cross checking was a great issue for me. Then I came across this software and now I am a happy and satisfied customer. It has automated the import of the data from the systems and helps in assuring the accuracy of my reports. It is a great tool and now our finance department and our procurement department are taking much benefit from this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you keep so much data arranged on place it becomes difficult at the time of need to get the right document you have to spend time in searching. Moreover there is nothing big issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It controls all the issues that we were facing in documentation, spread sheets and presentation because of its cloud based functionalities. Now our teams easily collaborate regarding content controlling; in this way we have managed our time beautifully. Via this tool we can easily track the progress of our projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool in for large and moderate organizations in which team work is mostly done and many people have to cross check and fill the data and it is so much suitable for financing and to handle overall processing of data.
We absolutely LOVE Wdesk
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many great things about WDesk. I think the most important feature, currently, is the ability to track any & all changes made, and keep a good audit trail (all within WDesk) detailing what changes were made and why.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing so far that I dislike is that you're unable to run multiple instances of the program/application. I work in accounting and we use WDesk for our quarterly 10-Q reports, so one thing I'd like to be able to do, for example, is have the prior quarter report open on one of my computer screens (for reference) and have the current quarter's report open on the other. WDesk won't allow this use of multiple tabs - you have to switch between the documents/exhibits within the same window, which can be a little tricky/overwhelming at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our financial reporting team uses WDesk for our quarterly 10-Q reports. We have a Project set up for each quarter, and save all related documents (and our workbook) in there. It's great to have a seperate "Workbook" file for all your calculations, tables,and notes - I love being able to keep a little more messy "working version," which in my mind keeps all the messy details very "behind the scenes" and you don't have to worry about junking up the final product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I seriously LOVE WDesk, and would definitely recommend that anyone give it a try. I think it's especially useful for accounting & finance departments. My department, specifically, is Financial Reporting and this application is *wonderful* for our uses - it keeps great audit trails, great organization, great everything!! Literally the only issue I've encountered (the only "con" I can describe) is the inability to use two different tabs or two different browsers to view 2 different WDesk projects on seperate computer monitors. WDesk does keep each project (and each "Exhibit" within the project) on its own tab *within* WDesk, which is nice to use a familiar format, but functionality could be a little better if they allowed multiple instances per user; that would make a BIG difference to me personally. All told, I give WDesk a very strong 10 out of 10!!! Best accounting software I've used in any organization, seriously. I'm impressed.
Significant time and cost saver
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to do XBRL in house. Not only the cost savings but the flexibility. The ability to make last minute changes and not compromise SEC filing deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just the initial learning curve. Once I got past that, I didn't have any complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Had used it to handle all SEC filings in house. Savings was both cost as well as efficiency.

Make sure you have the right internal resource willing to embrace the tool and really understand it.
Must Have for Financial Statements Preparation and Review
What do you like best about the product?
The linking functionality gives me comfort that numbers used are accurate. I only update one source file and all linked destinations are automatically updated. The permissions settings and customization are useful for control purposes to limit who has access to what information. The review functionality (Blacklines and review comments) and Tasks Lists are all useful when working with multiple users as I can assign and reassign tasks and comments.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be slow to load in my internet browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for controls on the numbers that flow into the financial statements. Allows for multiple editors and permissions. Allows for documents to be saved in one place and is easily searchable..

Spend time to set up templates and sheets correctly in the first place.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of doing daily business activities such as making walkthroughs and doing rest of controls. Maintaining version history. Interactive interface. Replaces excel and word documents which are prone to corrupting and data loss
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that its very slow sometimes and does not respond. Another feather is that of i am adding images in wdesk I dont have the facility to edit them or add a test box or Mark them owing to which i have to first edit those on word or excel and then in wdesk. That is actually required when u have to mark the evidences while preparing any walkthrough of a process

Earlier we used to have templates for walkthroughs or test of control in word or excel for sox testing but they were prone to the various issues such as data loss, file corruption, not a single of storage, difficult to maintain verisons, difficult to add review points and review comments

Documenting the IT Compliance framework and each entity's set of practices to comply with the framework

What do you like best about the product?
The linking ability and being able to import source documents thereafter without the linking being compromised.
What do you dislike about the product?
Roll forward. The rollforward function does not allow for the values to actually be brought over from prior year numbers. This would help a great deal and save time!

We are solving manual excel spreadsheets into automation. Therefore resulting in efficiencies and accuracy.
Best reporting and compliance software.
What do you like best about the product?
Wdesk is user friendly and makes reporting a breeze. Creating documents, table and data linking with this software is simple and easy as well hence quality documents are achieved.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing much to dislike since I love the functions of this software. However, sometimes refreshing data when updating is slow and may take some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This program has streamlined our financing reporting process as well as the documentation process. It has some task management functions that helped us in building task list from the required data and documentation.

I really love this system for financial reporting and therefore I would recommend Wdesk to any company or organisation which needs a financial reporting software.
Versatile and effective platform
What do you like best about the product?
To create different types of marketing reports through this product is my mist favourite part because it allows so many features for this purpose that saves a lot of my time and energy. Moreover, instant updating facility of this product is giving me very enhancive features every time. Another thing that I prefer is its real time dashboard that has number of options to do certain jobs on it and also it’s so much understanding and quite easier to go with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data compliance was never an easier task before this application but now after using it I cannot think of my working life without it. Moreover, I don’t find any specific drawback in it but sometimes there are few issues in its updating system that makes it a bit slower but it’s not a long term issue in it. Thus, this product is suitable for any kind of use.

Wdesk is my type of compliance management software that allows me to update all my documents in real time. This software helps my organization to avoid certain risks, gain control and also to boost efficiency of their working environment. Moreover, the templates that it provides are amazing and reminders of this product are making my exotic with it in a better way. I also like its ability to support any sort of risk assessment, work papers, issue tracking and reporting as well in an incredible way.

I can easily move with my teammates dye to this application because of its large variety of features that are playing a quite significant role in my daily work routine. So, managing data is so convenient on it and also saves time. So, for me it’s a definitely suggested application for each kind of working process.
Excellent management platform
What do you like best about the product?
My working partner has so many pros it helps me in work papers, managing documents, reporting issues and also in creating a workable environment for me. Only by pushing one button it quickly update my reports from my data. Customization of view also becomes easier through this application. Limit visibility to some specific users in order to make my privacy and does not allow unauthorized persons to see my work without my permission.
What do you dislike about the product?
The basic object that I found in it lesser creative options that makes me sometime bored because only basic designs are offered which makes it less attractive and also there is some sort of limitation to excel formulas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wdesk is basically a cloud based compliance reporting management system for mid-sized to large sized companies because of its utmost benefits and features which helps in team management to work cooperatively and also to do various projects in a team form also helps in data integration and furthermore in task management to properly manage each and every task with team members and also very helpful in giving alerts and notifications. As a worker I love this software because it supports me in risk assessment before anything bad happens.

I would love to recommend it to others in order to improve their work quality and also it helps in basic management of work that allows in creating workable environment without any further limitations.
