Financial reporting implementation success
What do you like best about the product?
The platform appears to be excel and word- which makes it a simplified change process for finance users which are highly familiar with excel and word. However the rapid implementation and benefits come from single data sourcing for multiple financial reporting outcomes. The linkage, and version control simplified many existing pain points.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost structure can be high in multi entity reporting, and it is not very transparent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduced effort in financial reporting process and increased controls.

What do you like best about the product?
We love Workiva for document collaboration and version control. Workiva is easy to navigate and very useful for team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workiva have been super helpful for our oganization!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Policy document collaboration, spreadsheet collaboration for financial reporting, ESG data metric gathering, GRC.

Linking ability to one set of data (reducing potential duplication errors of data in multiple places)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, financial reporting was EXTREMELY manual. This is helping us to reduce errors by linking to one set of data and helping us to close out reporting faster.
Innovative and collaborative
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva allows me to improve collaboration, process and data collection. Workiva listens to their customers pain points and continues to improvements that further enable their clients to achieve greater good.

Straight through reporting (data integration)
Great collaboration tool for the excel and strategy minded team.
What do you like best about the product?
Forefront of AI generated tools and auditability, thoughtful and purposeful usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have more sessions that are technical in nature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AI auditability and governance.
Cross functional collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to aggregate all our cross functional reviews in one area so that we can mitigate version control. Also really appreciate the XBRL assistance and white glover services - nothing but positive feedback for our XBRL team.
What do you dislike about the product?
We'd like the send for review function to have tracked changes so that those with privledged rights can only see that verison but also include incremental cahnges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data conistency with all the key metrics in one place and version control to ensure those who are reviewing can aggregate their review and comments in one place.

The load times can be extremely long in the afternoon.
