User-Friendly for SEC Filings, But Table Formatting Can Be Tricky
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is extremely user friendly for SEC documents, especially the Proxy tables and ability to link data cells.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside or challenge to using Workiva is the formatting. Sometimes it requires more skill than I have patience for to get tables to look exactly the way I want them to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AI is assisting in the SEC filing Intelligence with helping to find information quicker with more confidence.
Outstanding Experience with No Downsides
What do you like best about the product?
The overall experience is very good. Customer Support is better.
What do you dislike about the product?
None as of now. Will test more and let you know later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The overall time management is better now.
User-Friendly with Powerful Data Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Workiva for financial reporting, and it really helps with our quarterly and annual data analysis. I really like that it is very user-friendly, which made the initial setup very easy. I also find the data integration aspect particularly valuable.

Excellent for Collaboration and Controls, But Needs Better Design and Linking Features
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva has certainly enhanced our controls and automation when generating reports. It has also been extremely valuable for maintaining data continuity. The features that allow us to assign tasks and request data have improved both our timing and overall processes. Given the complexity of the reports we produce and the thorough verification steps required, the collaborative features have made a noticeable difference for every team involved.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Workiva excels in certain areas, it still falls short in terms of design features that are considered standard in other programs. For example, there is currently no option to create a horizontal report, which complicates the workflow. The only workaround is to break the control chain at the final step, but this can introduce its own problems. Furthermore, handling attachments in spreadsheets, linking data between reports, or establishing source links remains cumbersome and unreliable. As a result, I often find myself having to double-check and review my work, which leads to unnecessary duplication of effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is solving a problem of controls, data collection and reporting. As explained before, it has been tremendously helpful in that sense because there is less access and need for multiple people to add or edit data. Additionally, the ability to set tasks and send reminders is also beneficial as it reduces the time spent crafting emails and doing manual follow ups
Effortless SEC Filing, But Form 4 Footnotes Need Improvement

The footnotes for the Form 4's I think could be a little better

Enhanced Reporting Control, But Exporting Needs Improvement

Workiva helps us manage the preparation of client and BOD reports providing additional control we didn't have before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot export the files very easily when you want to create offline versions

User-Friendly Interface with Great Features, But Needs Better Multi-User Support
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is user-friendly, and I use it daily. It offers features such as resource management and reporting, which I find particularly useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is challenging for several users to update the report at the same time.

Bring together every stage of the audit process, from initial planning through to final reporting, ensuring a complete end-to-end workflow.
Clunky Interface, Limited Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I think the custom-facing team is very friendly, and I enjoy working with them. They're very kind people. Setting up Workiva was fairly easy with a couple of onboarding sessions and interactive engagement calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had some issues with the platform in the past, and it hasn't been the most user-friendly experience. A lot of functionality doesn't really meet our needs in terms of gathering data and we're not able to analyze it in the system. It makes it basically not very usable for us to plug data into. I think the user interface could be better. The spreadsheets are kind of clunky and difficult to use. I also don't think it offers a lot of capabilities that other platforms do.

Workiva streamlines our environmental data for required disclosures, although it lacks data analysis capabilities, making it less usable for us.
Easy Documentation, But Mapping and Control Changes Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
it is easy to use to document testing and review.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to make changes to controls and risks. Mapping is a pain. I would like to be able to click in the testing to be able to visit the narrative/ flowchart and see certifications and what the control owners are saying

It is software that facilitates our SOX testing
Effortless to Use and Great for Cross-Team Coordination
What do you like best about the product?
ease of use and implementation. Also a good coordination tool among various parties, internal and external.
What do you dislike about the product?
not specifically, but thought maybe AI function could be considered in the future.

Manage/ coordination between teams for monthly/quarterly close.
