What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, Reminders on email are helpful

In initial stage it took some time to understand but now after features are understood, no dislikes

Effortless Document Editing with Room for More Formatting Options
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple and just like working in a word document. No waiting for a printer to turn back changes. It's easy to make milestones (versions) and run helpful redlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was a little more formatting and art work you could do, but honestly, you can do quite a bit if you have a good understanding of how to use tables and HTML formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Workiva for all of our SEC filings. When I was at law firms we were always using financial printers and waiting for turns or asking for "rush" processing always ended up racking up pretty big bills.
Efficient Collaboration with Minor Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Workiva for its ease of use. It really stands out for its streamlined collaboration capabilities, especially when working on 10-Q and 10-K reports. I also find the live updates valuable because they allow reviews to occur simultaneously, which is a big help.

Issues sometimes when clicking on spreadsheets as it can become slow/unresponsive

I use Workiva for streamlined collaboration on 10-Q/K reports. Its ease of use and live updates allow simultaneous reviews, making the process more efficient.
Effortless Workbook Management—A Joy to Use Every Time
What do you like best about the product?
I find the feature that allows you to roll forward workbooks and files extremely useful. It makes managing and updating documents much more efficient. We use it for all quarterly and annual filings as well as the occasional 8-K. Customer support is outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't anything I dislike—I truly enjoy using it all the time.

This software has made filing our quarterly and annual reports much simpler, helping us save both time and hassle.
Great for Collaboration, Minor Lag Compared to Excel/Word

easy to edit and collaborate on files, can link figures to source documents, speeds up review and helps document methodologies

slight lag, not as seamless as working in excel/word

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva makes collaboration and reporting much easier. I really like how everything is connected in one platform—updates flow automatically across linked documents, which saves a lot of time and reduces version control issues. The audit trail and review features also make the review process smooth and transparent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the system can be slow or go down unexpectedly, especially during peak filing periods. A few formatting limitations in documents and spreadsheets can also be frustrating when preparing final reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva streamlines the SEC reporting process by connecting data across financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A in real time. It eliminates manual tie-outs and reduces the risk of version errors, especially during last-minute updates. The platform’s linking, audit trail, and review workflow make collaboration between accounting, legal, and finance teams much smoother. Overall, it saves time during quarter-end close and improves accuracy and control in filings.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and very intuitive. It allows me to control the drafting and filing process internally without relying on a traditional printer or waiting for a third party to update documents for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike is that it lacks the ability to schedule a filing in advance and have it automatically file (particularly helpful for West coast filers who often times have to make a filing between 3:30-6:30am PT).

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Workiva provides data in an organized manager that everyone can access at the same time, making it very efficient for team working. I appreciate the real-time collaboration and data linking features that ensure consistency across documents and help us work more efficiently as a team. These features give us a clear vision of control attributes. Also, the initial setup was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Workiva should have a feature of notification over the email. For example, every day I have to check what new has been provided by the client. It would be better if I get email notifications for every single folder.

Workiva gives us organized data management, allowing everyone access simultaneously. I like real-time collaboration and data linking, which ensures consistency across documents. It helps us work more efficiently as a team and provides a clear vision of control attributes.
Great Linking Features, But Needs Better Presentation Abilities
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to link together workbooks and press releases. It ensures that our press releases have the correct numbers in them
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could integrate Workiva directly with word or power point. I do not love the presentation/slides features in Workiva and being able to still use the linkability of our reporting into presentations in powerpoint would be great
