User-Friendly and Collaborative
What do you like best about the product?
It has been extremely user friendly, and employees can all be in a file at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally it kicks back comments in the cells.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's provided consistency for our analyzing our quartlerly statements.
Excellent for Collaboration and Controls, But Needs Better Design and Linking Features
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva has certainly enhanced our controls and automation when generating reports. It has also been extremely valuable for maintaining data continuity. The features that allow us to assign tasks and request data have improved both our timing and overall processes. Given the complexity of the reports we produce and the thorough verification steps required, the collaborative features have made a noticeable difference for every team involved.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Workiva excels in certain areas, it still falls short in terms of design features that are considered standard in other programs. For example, there is currently no option to create a horizontal report, which complicates the workflow. The only workaround is to break the control chain at the final step, but this can introduce its own problems. Furthermore, handling attachments in spreadsheets, linking data between reports, or establishing source links remains cumbersome and unreliable. As a result, I often find myself having to double-check and review my work, which leads to unnecessary duplication of effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is solving a problem of controls, data collection and reporting. As explained before, it has been tremendously helpful in that sense because there is less access and need for multiple people to add or edit data. Additionally, the ability to set tasks and send reminders is also beneficial as it reduces the time spent crafting emails and doing manual follow ups

The footnotes for the Form 4's I think could be a little better

Workiva helps us manage the preparation of client and BOD reports providing additional control we didn't have before.

Cannot export the files very easily when you want to create offline versions

User-Friendly Interface with Great Features, But Needs Better Multi-User Support

The interface is user-friendly, and I use it daily. It offers features such as resource management and reporting, which I find particularly useful.

It is challenging for several users to update the report at the same time.

Bring together every stage of the audit process, from initial planning through to final reporting, ensuring a complete end-to-end workflow.

The response rate of the customer success team.

The current ESg platform we use doesn't have the carbon accounting module, which needs to be purchased at an additional premium.

Easy Documentation, But Mapping and Control Changes Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
it is easy to use to document testing and review.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to make changes to controls and risks. Mapping is a pain. I would like to be able to click in the testing to be able to visit the narrative/ flowchart and see certifications and what the control owners are saying

ease of use and implementation. Also a good coordination tool among various parties, internal and external.

not specifically, but thought maybe AI function could be considered in the future.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, Reminders on email are helpful

In initial stage it took some time to understand but now after features are understood, no dislikes

Audit requirements at global level for all the regions resolves at one place
Effortless Document Editing with Room for More Formatting Options
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple and just like working in a word document. No waiting for a printer to turn back changes. It's easy to make milestones (versions) and run helpful redlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was a little more formatting and art work you could do, but honestly, you can do quite a bit if you have a good understanding of how to use tables and HTML formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Workiva for all of our SEC filings. When I was at law firms we were always using financial printers and waiting for turns or asking for "rush" processing always ended up racking up pretty big bills.
