What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use has to be the best part of zuora. It's very easy to navigate and user friendly for new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zuora Collect functions need improvement to work as a true collections tool

vspsbiliy to define subscription, terms, rate plan and co-terming , pro rating capabilities
What do you dislike about the product?
doesn't provide platform agnostic integrations, we don't have sfdc and its difficilt to integrate quoting system to zuora

I like the new REST APIs for working with Zuora.

The old SOAP APIs. They were hard to work with.

What do you like best about the product?
The billing and prorations are spot on accurate and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing features for larger, public, companies like and admin audit trail, portable tenant configurations for testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Core billing enabling us to bill 1 time per month. We have been able to achieve that and reduced overall hours spent each month on the billing function.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Review your internal business processes before officially starting the implementation; for us this was 2 year journey before we could start implementing Zuora.

What do you like best about the product?
Zuora offers powerful backoffice business transformation products. Products are highly flexiible, and provide powerful integration with Salesforce. Zuora's APIs are full function and allows companies to chart their own course in integrating with internal and 3rd part products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looking forward to improvement in reporting UI functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Subscription Billing with strong integartion with Salesforce and tax automation.

Excellent product. Ensure you are prepared to change your business processes and culture post launch of Zuora's product, to experience the full benefit of the product, and business process improvement.

What do you like best about the product?
Zuora allows ease of managing subscriptions by providing integrated function to multiple users across the company. It is essentially streamlined communication from sales to operations to billing to revenue recognition.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a new user, I find that changes are difficult. For every change, every area that uses the tool is impacted. So while communication across areas is helpful, it also means more areas that are impacted by changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The initial move to Zuora eliminated a tedious process of spreadsheets and tracking billing through multiple systems. The integration with salesforce and CPQ will be the ultimate in coordination of sales opportunities and invoicing.

Automating revenue recognition is now easy

What do you like best about the product?
The Zuora platform takes a lot of the guesswork out of what revenue to recognize and when, simply by entering the rules in each product and allowing the product to carry the rules.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is surprisingly little customization in places one would expect there to be ample ability to customize. I'm hoping new updates solve some of these issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Revenue recognition rules in subscription billing--saves time for our analysts so they can work on models and prediction rather than reconciliation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a process engineer involved, who understands your current CPQ so you can more easily migrate products.

the standard reports do not work. we have to use Excel to post process. Zuora should look into fixing the bookings and MRR reports.

What do you like best about the product?
Zuora revpro can handle large volume of data which help to reduce data management. With the right configuration and implementation, revpro does a great job for revenue recognition.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need improvement on reporting and the flexibility for user to configure changes based on the changes on business model
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits are to save time to manage high volume of data for revenue recognition.

Tons of features, options are endless, evolving technology
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to learn what all the features can do, support can be difficult to get in touch with and head back from in a timely manner, knowledge center is overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Insights have been a great addition to our Success Team and provides a unique view into what's going on. A very beneficial tool!
