What do you like best about the product?
Data models-as-code, edge-cached, content served relatively fast

UI feels slow, need more powerful API endpoints and SDKs, easy to get it into a broken state
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Off-the-shelf CMS rather than building our own out - serving data to our frontend and allowing business users to fill in data in a user-friendly, validated manner

    Education Management

So far tbe best headless CMS

  • December 11, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most thing here is the content management in the cloud. It makes life easier by not starting any app to update content. We can do this in the web itself
What do you dislike about the product?
Contentful is still evolving, example u cant add your own typography in contentful rich text editor. You can only use the elements they have provided. Its actually a drawback
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing the content with localization. Less time to update the content.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your good with gatsby , u can start using contentful, but make sure you are following the best practices otherwise u can face challenges in the build time

What do you like best about the product?
I like the bulk edit tool. When doing major migrations it made things faster and easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when you migrate from one system into Contentful there were duplicate slugs that had to be fixed manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We move our content from an inadequate ad hoc system to a system we could easily use interdepartmentally in the company. Increasing productivity since we launched.
