Decent content platform, not the most intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many features and options available for building a webpage and posting content.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to find items in the search functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit is an API-first, shared content platform that makes it easy to post new webpages and share content.
I've been using Contentful since the day I was hired from my company and it's very easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is managing content and customizing it. Also, how the teams can collaborate on a particular project is a plus. The platform gives a very user-friendly approach to beginners. I was able to familiarize the Contentful with minimal supervision.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike not being able to duplicate the content types created in a different environment. I worked on a specific project where we needed to deploy changes to production, and I kept getting errors whenever I duplicated the entry. It turned out to be there's no content type there. I can't proceed with the duplicating of entries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit I realized using Contentful is the convenience it gives to manage every commerce site with colossal content. The content has a significant impact on our business, and this platform helps us connect with our clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend using it when they have a big commerce site they are handling. The convenience and content management this platform provides are fantastic.

It has different environments support to use for QA, DEV, MASTER. The platform lets you make, manage, and distribute content to any platform. Asset Management

Migration the environments is the toughest job here
It's hard to integrate Apps with app framework. You need to maintain the server of the app you create.
Entries with many fields are somewhat tiresome to scroll through. The continous update makes our packages older you have to update it in order to get the latest features.

I like the fact that it's user friendly. It's easy to create the forms and connectors. Since it's cloud, its really fast and I enjoyed the experience overall.

I think some workflow automation would be useful.

Reliable form validation and submission of sensitive customer data to ordering system at backoffice.

Contentful can be a fairly straightforward tool to start using right away. It's great quality and can be an awesome tool for the iterative design/development approach.

Good, flexible headless CMS with a reasonable APIs and tooling

Data models-as-code, edge-cached, content served relatively fast

UI feels slow, need more powerful API endpoints and SDKs, easy to get it into a broken state

Off-the-shelf CMS rather than building our own out - serving data to our frontend and allowing business users to fill in data in a user-friendly, validated manner

I was managing all the contents in the cloud. Build faster. Handle SEO. Manage assets without worrying about the underlying storage. Use deployment slots.

Based on your company requirements, you can use whichever headless CMS you want. If you're looking for a combination with Gatsby, then I would suggest trying Contentful.
