The CMS which takes you from Monolith to Headless world
What do you like best about the product?
Nimbleness, Agile & the best part is SaaS, API Driven & evergrowing library of Extensions. For ex., we started our journey of Contentful in 2018, since then lot has been improved & Contentful has become more suitable for enterprises with improved scalability of API Calls etc.,
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike, but probably they are missing the bells & whistles like Full multilevel User Management, Personalization integrations, etc.,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have migrated 100 plus brand websites which are informal brand digital presence, where we don't need big box CMS features & don't need to install ourselves & manage the infrastructure.
Contentful is a user friendly platform to manage complex sites

How easy it is to create new articles and update site content. The indexing to look up for contents makes it painless to find the component to update.
What do you dislike about the product?
The multimedia content manager could be easier to navigate.

Brand site updating for SEO, article uploading.

Try to keep site structure simple and easy to tackle for peers and agencies.

I like how easy the Admin portal is to navigate and delegate access.

Maybe an easier way to search for users.

Not having to write our own mulltitenant CMS service
Contentful makes publishing and organizing content intuitive.
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface makes finding, publishing, and editing the content you need easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "download" button is right next to the "delete" button on the dropdown menu on images, and I've accidently deleted photos that I can't find again.

It's easier to get more team members onboarded because it's so much easier to conceptualize than our last platform.
Amazing content manager
What do you like best about the product?
Contentful is Amazing when handling and managing content; the API's are well defined and are easy to use, the API's it's what I like the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not so intuitive; it's challenging to search for content; when searching, I have sometimes press `enter` and everything related to the search gets messed up, then I have to delete at least one letter, and I can continue my search.
I think this is because Contentful's UI starts searching for every key pressed and not when we press the `enter` key.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it at Xoom to deliver all the client-side content, including email and SMS content. We have encountered that it's easy to handle translations using their APIs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please consider to use your own UI on top of the Contentful APIs if you have a dedicated content team, this is because the Contentful's UI search is sometimes challenging to use.

What do you like best about the product?
The UX for contentful is very intuitive and makes it so much easier for users to create and manage the site content

There was no option to have HTML embed content
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to create a well managed site, the content model has helped in doing so
Very intuitive tool to help build great looking content pages.
What do you like best about the product?
The library of the useful modules is great and very user friendly. I would like to see more modules introduced in the future for sure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main page layout needs a little more pictorial or naming possibility for each module so we know exactly which one we are using without opening the module.

The usefulness and user-friendly ness and quick turnaround help us build great content which is quick and visible or review in real-time.
