A comprehensive solution to streamlining our product data and distributing it effectively.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of the Saas PIM is the way data can be manipulated and tailored depending on which channel the information is being pushed to.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Pimberly DAM is not very user-friendly. It could do with having more sorting and filtering options. Also, despite naming formats, images assign to products in random order (instead of chronologically).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pimberly solves a long-standing inconsistency of product information across the company. It benefits us by providing one source of truth, for all areas of the business to use.
My Experience of Pimberly
What do you like best about the product?
Pimberly is a great tool that I love using! I use it all the time and it has honestly helped me so much with improving product data and reducing lots of errors in my work. With Pimberly, I can manage all product data in one place, keeping everything consistent and accurate. It saves me time by cutting out certain spreadsheets and manual updates, while automation and workflows make it easier to launch products quickly and efficiently. With existing products, I can easily export using the different filters and for importing new products, (even if its a large or complex product range), I find it easy to use and update specific types of data. Also, if anyone is updating my work or things I've worked on, I can clearly see the recent activity so there's no outdated data.
With Pimberly’s DAM, its so easy to (drag and drop) upload images and videos. They can be kept all organised and consistent with each product category and I like how you can see whose imported certain media files. Exporting them all is also such a quick job.
The support team is always there to help me manage things smoothly. Whenever I email, the team come back to me very quickly and always find a solution to anything I ask them. I didn't personally have much involvement in the initial setting up of PIM, but the way its been created and implemented for our business has worked very well. Pimberly's support team also work well with our IT team to help solve quick issues and fixes.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Pimberly, is the slow performance. When exporting/importing large volumes of data, it can often take a while to load. However, when this does happen, sometimes the Team will email me personally to let me know. Some exports can take a long time, but I presume this is because the server is quite busy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pimberly solves the problem of managing product data and digital assets that are often scattered across spreadsheets, folders and different systems. By using one central platform, it removes duplication, errors and time wasted searching for the right information.

What do you like best about the product?
The service from the team and the speed at which they get back to urgent support requests.

What do you dislike about the product?
We are Australian based, genuinely the only issue we have is the time zone works against us, however I think the longest I have ever waited for a response is 24 hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scalability and a single source of truth.

Good PIM system, intuitive automations and easy for entry level execs to pick up
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use as an administrator-type role is the best feature of Pimberly. I don't look into how it's set up or innovate on our systems at all, just 'use how it is currently set up and in that regard, it's very simple and well integrated to our Shopify stores. The support line is also very effective at getting problems sorted, usually resolved in less than a day. I use Pimberly every day, so I am finding ways to do things quicker regularly, the bulk upload feature is very easy to use and handy when editing a group of SKUs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes aspects of the system don't work as intended based on how its been set up, or take a while to update. Luckily the support line is very good so they solve these issues very quickly and they are not too common.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a merchandising executive it solves a lot of data input work and automates it for me as well as acting as a parent object to all our Shopify-based websites which it does well to update regularly. As a business , it allowed us to expand past a certain number of SKUs rather than using our old system that only supported so many.

We recently chose Pimberly as our nominated PIM and DAM SaaS provider, and the entire experience has been exceptional. From the very first meetings through to onboarding and implementation, the process has been run with incredible efficiency and professionalism.

What do you dislike about the product?
In the 'Logs' tab, there is a 'Last Processed' column, this is in days, it would be beneficial to change or add an actual date. When looking back for an import file, we would generally look for a date rather than how many days ago something was.
When using the Batch 'Update' tool, it would be helpful if this updated in the logs too, otherwise there is no tracking of this.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They most recently solved the issue of fields not mapping on an export, meaning we would have to map them ourselves before exporting data. This is now saving us a lot of time when exporting huge data files

It can take some time to create a report, but that depends on how much data you have stored and the parameters and if you get logged out you invariably lose the report. Other than that all good

Pimberly solved our product data management problems by providing a single source of truth for all our product information and digital assets. This centralised system has significantly improved our efficiency, helping us get products to market more quickly and with better, more consistent data.

Superb product backed by fantastic customer support. Pimberly is very easy to use was integrated into our business very easily, we could not do without it.

What do you like best about the product?
PIM is clear and easy to navigate, which makes onboarding and daily use straightforward for the whole team. Making changes is simple, and the structure of the PDTs is logical and easy to understand, even for those new to PIM systems.
Enrichment functionality, particularly the ability to involve suppliers in the data completion process.
The gateway feature is also incredibly helpful – it clearly shows which products are missing required information and prevents them from moving forward until everything is in place.

What do you dislike about the product?
Creating parent codes manually can be quite time-consuming – a more automated approach would be appreciated, especially when dealing with large product ranges. Additionally, from a visual point of view, we’d love to be able to view seasonal collections in a more visual format, such as a list with product images for quick referencing, instead of having to click into each product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Enrichment has saved us a huge amount of time and ensures our product data is accurate and complete from the start and also the ability to involve the suppliers more and making them more responsible for their data. The gateways have really helped improve our data quality and workflow transparency.

-Under the Recent Activity section, identifying updates is challenging as only codes (e.g., 667d1e97cee993001760c06d) are displayed. Showing the actual label instead would make it easier to track changes, especially when multiple users are involved or errors occur.
-Once icons are created, the inability to edit their naming conventions limits flexibility
-A significant improvement for size guides would be the ability to flexibly add, rearrange, or drag-and-drop rows and columns. Currently, adding them only at the end is time-consuming when reorganising information.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A key business strategy is streamlining our product information. As more team members use the system, user setup remains simple and efficient. However, new users face challenges with updates, and while the Recent Activity section helps identify errors, showing labels instead of codes would improve clarity. Lifecycle management enhances visibility by tracking product progress and ownership. Craghoppers has yet to adopt the PLM system, but it will reduce manual setup, minimizing errors and saving time on corrections.
