Data Not Always the Best + Dubious Business Practices
What do you like best about the product?
The data offered from the tool worked well enough for our organization. It wasn't always accurate, but it was fairly decent. We used the tool for data enrichment as well as prospecting.
What do you dislike about the product?
* The data wasn't always accurate
* The billing was not always transparent when it came to credits, what was charged (and how much was charged)
* ZoomInfo data outside the US is terrible - with the amazing algorithms they brag about, I'm not sure how they aren't able to get accurate data worldwide unless the reports of their illegal acquisition of their data are true
* ZoomInfo has no qualms with just shutting down your subscription if / when they feel like it - a different part of their organization saw us as competitive (who they acquired via an acquisition). Even though we had paid for a full year of service, they decided to just shut down our account and deactivate everything without warning
You should view a company with business practices like this very suspiciously. We thought we were "special", but after talking with other companies, they have experienced similar dubious ZoomInfo business practices.

The tool was able to find some updated data as well as some new prospects. However, it is very US centric and not at all a complete solution. Unfortunately, you will need to buy other tools as ZoomInfo offers an incomplete tool.

Engage Prospecting
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent automated email prospecting, using the ZoomInfo SalesOS database. Deep customization for salesflow templates. I use it to keep up with email prospecting, which frees me up for other tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest gripe continues to be the hassle of importing contacts from SalesOS. I wish that I could just search a new contact in Engage and then add them to a salesflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engage helps me to be more effective with my time. Also helps to keep people in the "funnel," instead of losing them due to forgetfulness or neglect. I also benefit from receiving notifications that someone has opened my prospecting emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take one or more of the training! Engage is not the most intuitive and this helps.
Zoom Info: Capable but Could Be Better
What do you like best about the product?
Cell number availability, work chronologies, Integration with HubSpot and LinkedIn

Logs me out too much and I have to start over again, too many of the same companies come out in lists (500 contacts, I don't need 80 from IBM, but I get them). Technologies section is limited

Helps me begin email campaigns with well-established contacts that have a working business email

What do you like best about the product?
As a B2B Inside Sales representative; ZoomInfo is a vital part of my job. Being able to locate "the" person in a company is a necessity and ZoomInfo helps make it an easy task.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about ZoomInfo is that it is not always updated with a company's employee and position changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo SalesOS makes it easier to find the correct person to speak to and the means to contact them. This helps me be more productive in my position.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A Vital tool in any type of B2B position.
Engage has allowed me to seamlessly increase my productively and is a very user intuitive platform.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it was to get started with the tool and how efficiently I've become. in combination with the web client and the chrome extension, I've been able to increase my prospecting efforts significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
the only issue I've run into is how long it takes to load contacts in and for them to be available in Engage. I've also had issues load in contact and forgetting to tag then so i becomes increasing difficult to find them especially as the data pool gets larger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an SDR (Sales Development Rep) my primary focus is on prospect outreach, and with Engage I've been able to be more organized and effective in my outreach and cover my territoy efficiently.
It was a very informative course, challenging enough to stay engaging.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoominfo for sales is useful for finding new businesses and makes prospecting a breeze! I have Zoominfo integrated with Salesforce to create a relatively seamless experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the system can be confusing or complex to figure out how to use properly, and thus would often be avoided. The course helps remedy this. However, the bells and whistles can be a distraction for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me shorten the time I need to spend discovering new businesses and contacts there. This simplifies what would be the hardest part of my job. Now, all I have to do is brief research and then dial away!

What do you like best about the product?
The organization is able to create faster engagement and in turn shorten the sales cycle!

Lots of features, but all come in handy once you know how to use it!

The filtering for organizations and contacts saves you time. With the scoops, intent you can go beyond just contact info and customize your approach and hit their pain points from the start.

There is a lot of power and tools that can be overwhelming. Exports and fields of info need to be customized to get everything you need.
Some org charts contain old and out-of-date contacts and contact info. There is a grading system on how confident they are in this information, but you will need to add or adjust the grading to keep these results out of your search.

With ZoomInfo I am able to save time by fast and easy filtering for searches that get to the right companies and decision makers, saving a ton of wasted hours and dollars trying to contact anyone and everyone, only to find out they are not the right person.

Make sure all of the bells and whistles you see are part of your package or need to be added.
