Seamless use with Salesforce but sometimes inaccurate in EMEA
What do you like best about the product?
Smooth transition from Linkedin to Salesforce - much better at batch ingests than individually taking leads across
What do you dislike about the product?
often doesn't give email addresses that are present on linkedin, so im having to spend time cross-referencing which slows me down. often also gives inaccurate contact details which leads to many email bounce backs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
inaccurate contact details like email address formats mean that I have to guess the email address myself, especially in MENA and Turkey but also generally the whole of EMEA. Benefits are speed of ingesting leads
Underhanded Sales tactics
What do you like best about the product?
It does what it's supposed to do. I have nothing else to add.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their sales reps do NOT reach out prior to the renewal clause kicking in, REMEMBER THAT.
it is just piss poor customer service, I work in SaaS too and we would never allow the shit they allow when it comes to taking advantage of busy clients' schedules.
So when you do reach out, you better be DAMN clear about what you need and want for the next renewal with a very clear "without those terms being met, consider this my legal notice of cancelation", doesn't matter if you want to cancel- that just keeps the door open, because you talking to them about the needs they aren't meeting does NOT count as a formal notice in their eyes.
In our case, we talked to them prior to the renewal clause kicking in, the sales person was not clear with our contact here about next steps, and they were not even a little understanding to the miscommunication what-so-ever.
Their sales team is sneaky. Not a fan.

Nothing 40 other tools cant take care of, Slintel is just as good.
Data is good. Onboarding is underwater and needs help.
What do you like best about the product?
The data in zoominfo has always been some of the best data out there. They have added more tools to the offering and have a pretty good stack for sales and marketing teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of the data is really expensive compared to other vendors.
The major issue I have is the onboarding team. I purchased on the 12th of this month and cannot get a kick-off call scheduled until NEXT MONTH. I will get invoiced and the bill is due before I can even get a kick-off call.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1st Party Intent. Sales and Marketing Research. We are mostly using it similar to how we used the other data tools in the market. The main thing we see with Zoominfo is the data is better.
ZoomInfo is a MUST HAVE
What do you like best about the product?
My team and I find most helpful the verifired contacts and associated organizational charts. The ability to search employees by location, function, etc. is invaluable as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful facet of ZoomInfo is the company information, financials, etc.. In fairness, we subscrible to other services who specialize in this data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business development outreach and network building is the challenge that ZoomInfo helps us solve. The benefits include accuracy, time savings, etc..

Thoroughly understand your requirements for professional tools of this kind so that it is more certain about how you determine the cost justification.
Great data mining tool for sales
What do you like best about the product?
If I do not have the correct contact info for a prospect, Zoominfo 8 times out of 10 will have it for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its integration with Salesforce isn't the greatest. I continually have to login into Zoominfo on each contact record to see their information rather than keeping me logged on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo allows me quickly get the info I need on a prospect and more often than not they have additional info like alternative emails and phone numbers.

Nothing. I do wish it woul allow me to have the left filter open 24/7 for ease of use when serching for contacts

In addition to finding the DM, I can locate other key employees within a company. Doing so enables me to be prepared before calling the DM.

The data is accurate. It is easy to digest and understand. The interface with Salesforce is very cool. The web insights and intent is also very helpful information.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires a subscription. It is a lot easier if you do the training. I would not recommend trying to learn as you go as there are many capabilities with this tool.

I find key contacts quickly. It helps me understand companies better. I can also validate where a company is making key investments, while also understanding their organizational structure better.

Shady Business Practices - Watch for Auto Renewal Clause!
What do you like best about the product?
Provided some information on certain contacts but was overall cumbersome to use and data uploads were next to impossible to execute properly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Auto renewal with no notification ahead of time. Zero flexibility on cancelation, only offered to "do all we can to ensure you see return on investment in 2022-2023" - They certainly didn't do that in 2021 so I certainly don't expect them to in 2022. The only time I ever received communication from them was when they wanted to help me with a data load that would allow them to charge me even more money. Otherwise completely unresponsive, unhelpful, and a complete scam and waste of money. Horrible overall experience and shady practices all around.

Used for lead generation but was overall useless and time wasting, along with a complete waste of money.
