ZoomInfo Feedback and impressions
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface of ZoomInfo. Filters and fields can be easily located and used. Excellent customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a new user, it can be overwhelming due to the many functionalities and features to be explored. I would suggest having a roadmap for beginners of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can easily find new leads and prospects contacts once you set up your client search criteria.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Explore the resource list at the Knowledge Center; they have great content and cover all the topics you need to know.
Zoom Info - Takes the Heavy Lifting out of Prospect List Building
What do you like best about the product?
I like how functional Zoom Info is. I primarily use it to build lists of contacts, and doing this is simple. It is fast, easy to use, and has extensive data. My experience is that the data is generally accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed that there are several features that I do not use at all. So if I had to pick something that I dislike, I would note that I do not like how there are several options on Zoom Info that I simply never use, and so sometimes that info can get in the way and clutter my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem I am solving is building lists to prospect potential new customers. I am able to quickly build a comprehensive list of prospects fairly easily and quickly. I am also able to access information that I was not aware was available. For example, I can search for all companies / contacts in a particular industry, and Zoom Info will provide the data, often surprising me with companies I was not aware of.
Excellent software for outbound prospecting
What do you like best about the product?
The access to direct emails and phone numbers including mobile lines. Since the COVID, work from home frequency has increased exponentialy, and the ability to reach mobile lines is key, especially in our industry when most of the prospects we speak with work remote. The interface is quite easy to learn and understand, which has been very helpful for the new members we brought onto our team. Additionally, Zoominfo Intent is great add on to target prospects which may be searching for services directly inline with what we offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The primary and only issue with Zoominfo is its lack of data for SMB customers. However, I believe this is due to the industry my company is in (eCommerce). For enterprise or mid-market level prospecting, Zoominfo is the best tool I've used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are reaching our prospects directly through email or phone. Zoominfo offers the most accurate and comprehensive data for outbound prospecting. Without it, our connect rates would be much lower. Additionally, Zoominfo's intent allows us to work smarter and focus on our efforts on companies searching for services we offer.

Great for building a system of selling

The access to small data of new people at companies, intent data and scoops can really put your sales team in the good habit of working their territory.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much the data is good, but more global data would be helpful

Getting our reps to consistently and daily work their territory. Yes, huge new prospects and methodology.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't settle for them showing you a bit of data, get a full month or so trial so your reps can really test the data for their territories.

What do you like best about the product?
You can access contact info and employee details for companies. When you are able to find a business on there, emplyees and their roles are given. Also, you can track leads to identify who has been viewing your site.
What do you dislike about the product?
It often is not up to date and can be challenging to access the correct info for people. Not only that, not all businesses can be found on here. Linkedin has a more reliable/updated data base.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When prospecting potential people to reach out to for sales, this is a huge help in collecting the means necessary to connect with them (phone numbers, emails, ect).
Best Internal Sales System
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom info helps our company's internal sales by providing large lists of industry-specific leads. All the data is filterable to my exact specification and export generated in seconds—such a time-saver in an internal sales environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a small learning curve to use the system. But once you do the onboarding, everything seems pretty simple to operate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company is trying to work more efficiently in sales. With ZoomInfo we no longer have to search for leads manually. The tool provides hundreds to us instantly.

So many tools to keep me on-track and productive while minimizing my dead time.
What do you dislike about the product?
More of a challenge than a dislike, but unlike some other platforms, ZoomInfo requires a bit of training to truly make the most of it. Time well invested though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching the greatest qualities of SQL's in the shortest amount of time with taylormade messaging. The ease of creating a process to handle each step of my outreach campaigns and track the metrics has been invaluable.

There's so much you can do...it can be overwhelming at times. Also, the headcount is off at times.

Helps me find missing information with my accounts

What do you like best about the product?
I like the intent data. It is beneficial to know who has been searching for keywords in your industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I have to go in a manually associate the company to the contacts in our CRM. It is extra work I didn't want to have to do.

We are gaining more leads to close more deals.
