zoominfo good tool
What do you like best about the product?
Accessibility to a lot of records and being able to update them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have to invest a lot and don't have access to all the tools.

Current database and getting leads
ZoomInfo helps us identify incorrect data and identify the right data
What do you like best about the product?
With ZoomInfo integrations, we can see updated information for Accounts and Contacts and identify the right people to contact at Accounts that we should be connecting with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that I would call a dislike with our use of ZoomInfo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With ZoomInfo, we can identify bad data, have updated data right there, and find additional information about Accounts and Contacts without having to search for it.
Very easy to filter by any metric imaginable. ZoomInfo was the next step for our marketing efforts.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the filters for every aspect of your audience. You can truly curate a list for exactly what you're looking for, nothing less. And the data is very accurate and up-to-date! We had an issue on our first export that led to about a third of our leads being unusable; our rep worked with us to show us how the problem occurred and refunded us some of those credits. Overall they are very easy to work with and respond quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love that reviewing someone's record counts against you (not as an actual credit, but you're limited to how many you can review in a period). I understand that it's a protection in place for them, but something to keep in mind. As an admin, I can't see the lists that another user exported. They would have to send me the file of that exported list, or I would have to log into their account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to get more leads than we were seeing through paid and organic social. This was the most cost-effective solution for the number of emails we were looking for. We received our credits in less than 24 hours and had our leads filtered and exported that same day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure if you're purchasing leads to email that you make sure your CRM supports purchased lists. We imported ours to Salesforce Pardot and were asked to delete them after some recipients reported spam. Pardot requires proof that all recipients opted in to receive emails from you. If you're planning to contact the leads in a certain way, make sure that you set that field as required when exporting your list. Otherwise you will end up paying for leads that are missing the form of contact that you need. Also consider that ZoomInfo is updating peoples information through out the year, so if you purchase a lead in January and their phone number changes in July, you still own that lead and will be able to see their updated information. Lastly, if you have a lead list of your own that you feel is missing information, you can import that into your account and check it against their database for accuracy.

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo has so many features to like, but the greatest is "scoops." That's information about companies - hirings, pain points, funding rounds that give you credibility when you speak with people within those organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit expensive and not always 100% accurate, but the pros greatly outweigh the cons.

I get current information I can use to contact prospective clients and sell my services.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to find direct numbers and email addresses, as well as key business insights and relevant news articles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as updated as I'd like it to be, a lot of people have changed companies and it doesn't reflect that. Also doesn't update very often for new hires, changes in leadership, rebrands, etc.

Finding direct lines and emails of potential prospects.

Intuitive to use does not take much time to get new user set up

Nothing, the tool is easy to use and great training videos

What do you like best about the product?
My team was using a competitor for over a year, and the quality of the data was so low that they stopped using it. They weren't getting any value out of it. After just a month of using ZoomInfo, they are getting higher quality data and using it to generate more leads than ever.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is really expensive. Like ... REALLY expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to quickly and accurately source contacts and leads for outbounding.
Prospecting Tool for the win
What do you like best about the product?
We can leverage both the API to update firmographic data as well as record by record.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outdated data is always going to happen, still find that ZI is the most relevant.

Firmographic data, data enrichment, targeted lists for Outreach
Best tool for Prospecting!
What do you like best about the product?
Org chart helps you drill down to the right target profiles. Intents helps in big way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Focus is less on small size companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Addressing Prospect reach out challenges . Focussed reach out is done.
ZoomInfo is great, but not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy platform to use, the data is usually thorough, and the ability to upload and complete lists of prospects is powerful. I am still learning how to fully use the tool, but it is helping out tremendously so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the data isn't fully updated. That's to be expected though. It's not perfect, but it is my go-to for finding info on prospects. Smaller companies are an issue no matter what, but sometimes the lag on the data being updated is very slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding quality information and new prospects in my area. I love the detail in the search functions for employees and companies. You can really dial in exactly the demographic you're hunting for.
