I love the ZI Database
What do you like best about the product?
The Reachout - I think it is the best feature as I do not have to visit the ZI homepage again and again for any particular contact or lead. Reachout is very helpful and a time saver for me in generating good leads. Whenerver I open a LinkedIn profile, the Reachout comes into play.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Well, the only downside is that sometimes Reachout takes more time in pulling out the data on extension. I wish if it could be faster.
2) When importing the data from ZoomInfo, I always get one extra fake contact
3) Sometimes the account names are so mixed on ZI database.
4) While generating leads, sometimes the lead has either left the company or the working title is not updated.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contact Phone and Direct Numbers - Apart from Mail I'd, the best ones are their phone and direct mobile numbers. In a case of bounced mail, then, in that case, the sales team can approach through contacting on their cell numbers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
ZI database is very helpful. I highly recommend using it.

Dashboard and the filter on the advance search option to filter down to my geographic area.

Sometimes I do not find all the companies I search

I use ZoomInfo for prospecting and getting specific data to bring to the table to the potential customer.

The software is very user friendly and easy to navigate

Not all contacts are up to date but over 95% accurate, which is better than anything else I've used in the past

Zoominfo is easy to navigate and provides contact and business information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoominfo has less clutter in the updates section, and the database can be updated more often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've realized that Zoominfo allows me to keep up with current news and market trends and categorize and search criteria.

We're updating our account/contact data in Salesforce to be the most recent. Reps are able to directly contact people based on mobile phone/most recent employer.
Awful/shady sales practices! Beware!! An expensive mistake
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing, even for the price negotiation. Their official price was 15k $ for 5k credits, i negotiated 6k for 10k credit and thought i had a very good deal while a friend of mine told me he got 15k credits for 5k. So they are basically charging you as much as they can.
What do you dislike about the product?
They forced us into renewing even tho we replied that we are not interested to the email sent by them 2 days after the cut off date (58 days instead of 60 days) for the auto renewal.
So now they are forcing us to pay for a service we dont use and we replied the the email they sent us after the auto renewal, that we are not intrested in renewing.
This is how they are showing that customer dont churn, by forcing them into a renewal. It is the worst service we ever got. We had some issues with ither vendors about renewal and the all got cancel or even refunded (kudos to outreach for example)
In addition to this I made a deep research on all the tools that are similar since i will never continue to use a product that is treating is customer that way even tho they firced us in renewing.
In my research i checked for , slintel, lusha, uplead, salesintel and apollo.io
I can tell you that they all were better pricing and service than zoominfo and the clear winner was Apollo.io
They have an outreach platform, tones of contacts information, great integration with linkeding and salesnav
Any other solution is better than Zoominfo

For prospecting, i used all the tools in the market and zoominfo has no real benefit. They just have a brand and a lot of marketing money. Their product and customer service was the worst!

Great tool, that sometimes is outdated, and can be a bit manual at times. SalesLoft integration is super helpful!

The extention that it comes with that attaches to SalesNav.

I dislike how sometimes it pulls the wrong company and you have to manually change it.

So much faster to export contacts to outreach/SF

Many filters are available to focus on the relevant prospects and companies.

Some of the information is stale; it's hard keeping track of this many people.

Speed. ZoomInfo, especially with our Salesforce integration, makes prospecting much faster.
