Easy integration
What do you like best about the product?
The most recent iteration of Zoom is, for me, much easier to work with. I am in general the type who like to learn on their own and this new platform made that fairly easy. I have used business directories going back years but nothing compares to the depth of information, (as much as is practicable) that Zoom offers. The ability to ask Zoom to give you customized lists using whatever criteria you require is amazing. What you get is detailed and exportable into a .csv format which is easily referenced and modified as required.
I used the original platform for about 3 years and I found myself wishing that I had access to contacts mobile numbers and this new platform makes that available.
I don't necessarily use a mobile at my first attempt at contact but having it there if all else fails is a real bonus.
The links to social media are really handy. I use the LI link all of the time as I like to use it to find out more about who I am trying to connect with via Zoom.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really know that there are any, nothing of any greta import anyhow. I guess that maybe the information isn't 100% accurate (not that it would be possible) can be frustrating when you reach out to an individual only to find that they are no longer with the company or have changed roles etc. As I said, it would be near impossible to get it right all of the time but you asked what I dislike and, fair or not, that's pretty much it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to be able to directly connect with people via their mobile numbers. While it isn't available in all cases, it is in most and that direct link is very beneficial too me.

I really like how easy and simple it is to use. It's very user-friendly and you don't have to go through to rigorous training to figure out the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better way to share information and collaborate with other organization members. I'd like to see who other people in my company exported or tagged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoominfo helps me target companies further than just getting contact information. I like being able to see the list of technologies companies use. It helps me know what we can sell or support.
Great product, insufficient customer care
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is a great tool to serve the needs of a sales team that may be both prospecting and attempting to learn more about known customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer care is lacking. There has been a recurring issue with team members being kicked off the platform that has to be fixed monthly and there has yet to be a resolution. Our annual subscription has renewed and there has been no flexibility in pricing despite the time-sensitive maintenance required from the systems team and the loss of data for the users. I would urge the ZoomInfo team to take a closer look at their customer support and care to improve the customer experience and in turn ensure the longevity of their customer base.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stick with it and keep experimenting to learn how to maximize it's value. Combined with Salesforce it is a awesome tool.
Good tool with ugly terms & service
What do you like best about the product?
The access to the huge companies' database
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service and terms of use. The customer service isn't interested to help you, they only interested to get their money for subscription. They could ban for one month just for "suspicious actions" from your Chrome plugins. And they NEVER would cancel your subscription - the only possible reason is the dissolution of company. Not recommended.

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is a powerful tool to view hierarchies of companies, gain insights on their software used or company news, and effectively add contacts to keep messaging fresh in Salesforce (and they do so much more!). Zoom also does a great job of bringing in new tools that allow you to get account insight in different ways
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the integration with Salesforce can be a little finicky but besides that it's great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting to the right leaders of a company and always having new people to reach out to. I'm learning how to sell to an account in multiple ways. Sometimes I use actionable intel like Scoops to sound relevant or use software insights as a way to name easy integrations with the software I sell.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would use ZoomInfo to creatively get into accounts, especially for big-sized companies. It saves you a tremendous amount of time, effort, and energy so you can launch into prospecting without a hitch. As you use ZoomInfo, be sure ot check out out the pieces of training and various tools since it's easy to launch into prospecting without knowing that one tool that could have taken a 6hr admin job and turned it into a 2 hr admin job. I would do an ROI not only on productivity but the reduction of headaches for your workforce as well as the increase in confidence as reps start to feel like they really know what they're talking about. Get the users bought into the platform and hear their own insights into how this tool would help them. This tool is amazing!
Great prospecting resource

Constantly updating contact information and contact change notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smaller companies do not have updated contact information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Locating appropriate prospects with with accurate email addresses and phone numbers. Have been able to expand my outreach beyond contacts collected solely through my company's resources.

Make sure you get a proper training first, once trained this can be a powerful tool for your prospecting. Also learn the different filters because it can save you a ton of time.
ZoomInfo - The most reliable data source for sales
What do you like best about the product?
My company has been using ZoomInfo for more than two years. The data is consistently reliable and the platform is easy to use. In comparison to other similar products we have used, ZoomInfo is superior. I also like that contacts can be easily exported to SalesLoft.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform changes a great deal, and sometimes that makes it challenging to navigate.

Finding new leads is critical for any sales organization and ZoomInfo simplifies the process.

What do you like best about the product?
The best about Zoominfo is the mobile phone numbers and supplemental emails. Especially during a pandemic, mobile numbers were key to getting in touch with prospects. The links to the social media accounts is a great help in conducting in-depth research on prospects. ZoomInfo is also extremely helpful when it comes to updating our existing contacts. I often will look at our Salesforce records and find the information is outdated. ZoomInfo has helped me to update hundreds of contact records so we can more accurately reach out to our prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something that could be improved with Zoominfo is the LinkedIn links and updating titles. The educational content could also be improved to help users think about ways to implement the data better other than the basic search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoominfo is helping us get in touch with prospects who have been working from home. The top benefit realized has been reducing the number of steps to getting in touch with a prospect. I often will check ZoomInfo before even checking my Salesforce database because the information I get from ZoomInfo is almost always more accurate than what I can find in SalesForce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get the pro account so you can have access to the mobile numbers and social media links as well as supplemental email. Having all the data possible is the best to make sure you can communicate. Others might tell you they have the most up-to-date data but ZoomInfo truly does have this in addition, there are humans making sure the data is correct. Although automation is helpful, it's important to still have a human in place who can evaluate and think in a ways a machine never could.
