ZI is amazing! But could be better
What do you like best about the product?
ZI has been instrumental in helping us scale our outbound capabilities. Because of them we have access to much more prospect data in a couple of clicks than we would originally. Their interface is relatively easy to use and pushing information to our CRM makes data attainment easy.
Something I really like is their continuous improvements to the platform. This has come in many ways such as integrations with other solutions as well as acquisitions.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of things that I think ZI could do to be better:
- Update data: there is a lot of data that is old (people leaving companies, bad emails, rebrands, M&A, etc.) which they can do a better job of getting in front of
- Filter accurateness: We use filters a lot, we've noticed when using them that we still get prospect data that does not match the filters being used
- Bad international data: our company is in 3 countries, aside from the US our international counterparts experience a lot of bad data
- Customer Service: customer service is a bit slow and can lag to communicated when we have issues

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an expensive tool but it gets the job done. No data aggregator is as effective and massively helps scale data attainment.
ZoomInfo for Sales
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can run a wide range of filters to get the most targeted prospect info.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way you remove companies from an existing search. You have to search the company name to remove it specifically rather than having an uncheck list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am in sales so ZoomInfo helps me get to the right people based on filters I run. I have realized that it has a plugin that makes it easier to find contacts as I visit a company's webpage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool is great for prospecting leads, finding out which companies to target based on your product and or services.
Another Integration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to send mass data to the crm first and then the ability to send same data to a cadence in sales loft.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that the contacts don't get added as a contact in crm if they don't exist already before the integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me a substantial amount of time when setting up prospecting cadences.

Make sure you take the time to integrate the software with all the partner tools before beginning.
Helps with Sales Info
What do you like best about the product?
The information that it gives you about a person such as their email and phone number. Also, the company information is great as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the information is not correct or even very old. I wish it had a way you could give feedback on if that person is the correct person you need!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the issue of trying to find an email address or contact name for somebody I am looking to sell to at a certain company!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would buy it as I think it gives you a leg up inside a company!
Zoom Discover is an ESSENTIAL sales tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Easily searchable by company and within company. Easy to use and packed with essential information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to search by person. Some company info is years old and out of date but this is unusual.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding correct go to person within an organization for my opportunity.

It is an excellent tool to gather accurate information on prospects and businesses.

What do you like best about the product?
The workflow of Zoominfo is elevated with a seamless browser extension that makes searching for contact or account info easy on any page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Areas for improvement are the ability export to CSV with ALL the data waned. Currently you cannot export mobile phone numbers via csv.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Daily, I enrich prospect lists and collect business emails that result in a number of weekly created sales leads. I have realized that I rely on Zoominfo everyday to do my job.

Never hesitate to set up a product demo for a better understanding of how to use Zoominfo.
Great sales tool
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite parts of this is the org chart is provides as well as the information about the tools used by the different companies and contact information for each individual.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the information is not up to date, but that is rarely the case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding sales processes / decision criteria within prospective accounts, as well as the tools they are currently using to help best my messaging to each individual.

What do you like best about the product?
The contact information is accurate most often accurate and the user interface is intuitive and easy to use. The scoops feature is helpful for finding pre-call information and they have good information on if a company has been acquired.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are sometimes issues with account matching and incomplete data on smaller accounts. It seems that when accounts are updated, dormant contacts of those who have left the company take a while to be removed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If I only know the name of a prospect I can be confident that their contact information is in the system. I use it primarily for contact information.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the access to the vast database of contacts that allows the opportunity to get more numbers, emails, and company information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is enough space here.
We were able to download and export contacts into salesforce of 50,000 contacts a month that is 600,000 for the year. Now when we upgrade, yes upgrade, we are only going to get a maximum of 144,000 contacts for 12 users and a bonus of 20,000 contacts. That is a total of 164,000 contacts.
That is a 265+% increase and 436,000 contact delta!!!!!How does that make sense? and you are going to up our price for one additional feature with TEDD, come on guys that is ridiculous.
I've never seen an increase like that in my life at anything I sold, anything! But you're going to give us a 50% discount on adding additional contacts to download. That's insane. How does a startup scale and grow their business? With your model, they don't.
Let's think about this...For example, Kaiser permanente has 134,000 employees. In their IT department, they have about 3000 employees. I need to export at least 1000 employees with relevant titles to get my target audience of 150 employees. So based on that model we could only contact 144 correction 164 (because of your bonus) enterprise companies before we reach capacity. With our old model, we could do reach all of the fortune 500 companies and then some.
So what changed? This does not help companies automate or scale. Let's just say we are going to evaluate seamless ai now.
