My prospecting with ZoomInfo
What do you like best about the product?
I like the integration with Salesforce the most. It saves me a lot of time to be able to work inside of SFDC and not toggle between the 2 applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still additional features we need to pay for that I would like now. We are currently trying to secure the budget to pay for these features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am looking for a very particular buyer of my software and ZoomInfo helps me target that buyer. I can search by company as well as specific backgrounds of the employees. I also like the ability to see an org chart so I can map out the account for planning
Easy to understand and follow
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy & self explanatory.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't figured out all the features yet, but that's because I need to put more time towards it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to reach out to people that we haven't been able to get contact info for before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy platform to use with a solid amount of information on contacts.

Finding direct phone numbers and emails for my leads.

The platform requires quite a few clicks

You can zero in on best targeted contacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike but does take a few tries to figure how best to narrow down your contacts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a never before called on territory, Zoom helps me build a prospect list.
Super Easy and effective
What do you like best about the product?
Transfer prospects into our CRM with their contact info
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the limited visibility of the persons profile compared to Sales Navigator
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to get essential contact info and employee titles/companies. It's very quick and easy.
Glorified phone book with an untrustworthy team
What do you like best about the product?
If you are in desperate need of contacts and don't care whether they want to talk to you, ZoomInfo is your software. The scoop information can occasionally be useful. The search module is easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Contacts -- especially international contacts -- are often outdated, tied to a HQ phone number or completely hostile to outreach.
Buyer Intent module is moderately useful for 30,000 foot view, but they can't recommend specific contacts for outreach and just pull their best guess.
Decentralized management is idiotic--you can't manage credits centrally as an admin, each user has a monthly limit and your company loses those credits if everyone doesn't hit their limit.
Also holding exports hostage for seats (you need to exchange user seats for additional export credits) is downright ridiculous.
Essentially they offer a variety of features then make it as difficult as possible for you to get full benefit from them.
The CRM integration is an absolute joke--get ready for endless csvs.
Finally, beware they have a two month notice requirement in contracts that they are oh-so-comfortable letting slide right by if it means they get a deal.

When you need contacts you can get contacts. Cursory buyer intent data helps target companies in middle of purchase exploration.

There are other, better tools available run by more respectable companies. Avoid ZI at all costs.
A Great Tool to Gather Info About Companies
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing is the chrome extension. When I pull up a company website, if it is in the database, a little arrow pops up on the side of the screen with relevant information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would always like for more companies to be in ZoomInfo, but since I started using it 3+ years ago, the amount has vastly improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives us great info such as company size, revenue, key employees, current IT used, etc. Very useful!
Great platfrom for what we need but really needs some new UK data
What do you like best about the product?
the smart list functionality is great for building and cross checking lists. with the alerts and triggers that can be set i up for tracking the companies we care about, insights and scoops are a great way of seeing more of what is happening in the companies we care about

working for a global org the US data is good but could be better the UK data is sparce. the number of direct dials and mobiles for the US and UK combine could also do with some work

it gives me and my team upto date data to prospect to. we can update our crm data and find new at the touch of a button. insights and scoops are a great way of seeing more of what is happening in the companies e care about

i would recommend deciding exactly what you are looking to achieve with the end in mind. double check the level and quality of data is suffucient for your region and vertricles
Great information. Access to emails and, in many cases, direct phone numbers.

I like the email and phone number information best. They also have contacts for many digitally native retailers that I've not been able to find elsewhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the contacts are incorrect as they have left the company recently.

We're basically just using it to find contacts, but we will be digging deeper.

I would highly recommend ZoomInfo as a great source for company information, industry information, insights, etc.
