Great tool for prospecting
What do you like best about the product?
Most info is accurate and up to date. The interface is easy to understand and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes data is out of date or inaccurate and when you send a suggestion it may take time to get it corrected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It lets me prospect quickly and get the information I need to best find customers for my software.
ZoomInfo is Pretty Great
What do you like best about the product?
Access to contact info based on so many different important criteria (company size, industry, job role, location, etc.). The information is correct most of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although ZoomInfo is very expensive, if used wisely, the cost can be recouped through the additional revenue you'll generate as a result of using ZoomInfo to find new prospects and contacts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems solved using ZoomInfo include finding new contacts at large companies to prospect to. It also allows you to get around gatekeepers and go higher up to decision-makers. Integration with Salesforce makes it easy to populate and update contacts and prospects which has been a [problem in the past - keep records up to date.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
ZoomInfo is the best source for up to date full contact information (email, title, phone, etc.). Extremely helpful for new contacts for sales prospecting and email marketing efforts.
I am still struggling to get accurate contacts for intent topics
What do you like best about the product?
That I can use Zoom for current clients to strike up conversation about different topics they may be interested in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I run into inaccurate information and have a hard time finding the right contact for intent

Being proactive on getting information about current clients before they have the conversation with someone else.

What do you like best about the product?
It has been great to find so many new companies and prospects very quick and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that in my trial I had access to mobile numbers and I don't believe that it was ever told to us that that was in the next subscription level. I think that for calling efforts and the prospects that I have to call I would have better results on that end. I also dislike that you took away the LinkedIn link on the contact level. Especially since when you export a list that link is still there so it tells me it's just missing the click to open and that makes it less productive than it was in the earlier version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't have a data tool and now that we have Zoominfo we are able to effectively find new companies and prospects to reach out to.

As useful as it is, some contacts can be out dated. Sometimes to double check I would need to look on LinkedIn to see if they are still with the company

The accuracy has reduced trust at times but has reduced research time

What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding experience at ZoomInfo with Anna Rovins was very helpful. She answered all of my questions and pointed me to resources when she did not have a complete answer. We were able to follow all the steps of the onboarding plan and have the next 30 days mapped out. Our Account Executive Jason Mercer was also very helpful and patient as we discussed internally on the ZoomInfo purchase. I also needed support in getting our trial of the "Intent" feature to be activated, and all it took was one email. The whole team involved in our acquisition and onboarding so far have been stellar!
What do you dislike about the product?
Cell numbers not automatically exported in csv file - I thought it would be. There might be a way to export this in bulk, or perhaps that is a violation of data privacy, so maybe that's why. Another potential improvement is having the credits roll over. We have 1000 credits/seat/month and there may be times when we do not use up all of these credits. Having these roll over to the next month will be very helpful. Additionally, all credits are reset at 12AM PST, it would be great if it was reset at the local time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Researching contacts for our B2B business was very inefficient before we had ZoomInfo. It could take a few days or even weeks to get a completed list with verified cell phone numbers. Now it takes about an hour to do research on Zoom, and upload the data into our CRM. The Intent feature is also very useful since we are a B2B company that wants to get in touch with decision makers immediately. This efficiency and increased time to conversation and potential sales realization is incredibly helpful and valuable for our team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate your current lead generation and research tools and find out how much time and money it takes for you to generate one lead currently. Compare the time and cost with using ZoomInfo. This calculation made the decision much easier for our leadership team.
Valuable and reliable tool for prospecting
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo has provided me the opportunity to create prospecting lists quickly and efficiently, allowing for more outreach in a shorter period of time. It has also allowed me to crosscheck information before following up or reaching out to a prospect and tailor my messaging to reference any recent news with the easy to use company update section. This has allowed for more personal messaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have come into quite a few instances where the information and contact information is not accurate on Zoominfo. I have to spend quite a bit of time cross checking information on other sources like LinkedIn to ensure employees currently work at the company or that their listed title is correct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of being new to a sales role and previously not having a clue of how to prospect. ZoomInfo was easy to learn to use and has allowed me to create prospecting lists quickly in my new role.
ZoomInfo helps us with the "Who to Call" and "What to Say".

ZoomInfo Intent shows who is interested.

Nothing - the UI is very powerful & easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo Intent shows us who is looking for solutions like ours - we then research similar companies in ZoomInfo and download the relevant contacts at this expanded list of companies to expand our prospect database of contacts who are likely (by the Intent data) to be interested in our solution. We then use our SalesTalk AI engine to generate specific (RELEVANT) emails and call opening statements using AI to mine all the company and contact data, i.e. Industry, Company size, Technology Stack, Titles, etc.) so we will be immediately RELEVANT when we reach out to the ZoomInfo identified prospects. ZoomInfo's WebSights shows us many companies who anonymously visited our website. WebSights even shows how often they visited our website as a signal of who we should reach out to first through researching the contacts using the ZoomInfo Contact data for those companies.
ZoomInfo...Couldn't Live Without It!
What do you like best about the product?
Salesforce iFrame, ReachOut Chrome Extension, Locations & Hierarchies, Contact Accuracy Scores, Export to Salesforce w/Dupe Checking and too many others to count.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like most platforms, data accuracy isn't always perfect but as good as they come.
So much data, it can sometimes be challenging to navigate a record to find exactly what you're looking for.

I lead a Sales Development team and sourcing and validating prospect data is a key component of the role, so we're not so much solving a problem as addressing a critical need.
The biggest benefit is reasonably easy access to predominantly accurate prospect data; companies and people.
