Great data, sub-par support
What do you like best about the product?
Data and intel is the best I've seen. The user interface could be improved, but the data is solid.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support is ridiculously poor. Hold times are LONG; live chat seems to be non-existent. There is a very, very STEEP learning curve on the Engage platform. (I am a software junkie. I have never struggled with a tool as much as I have with Engage.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small company and need to accomplish more with less -- less money, less people. (approximately 1 month in, and we have yet to be able to execute on the promises made in the sales process.)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Expect a steep learning curve. Expect to invest more time than you hoped for. If you are short-staffed, and you're hoping ZoomInfo will provide you with leverage, you might want to look elsewhere. It is HARD to spin up, difficult to understand, and very frustrating -- and in fairness, that frustration is likely stronger if your plate is already full.
Outstanding Product
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is very easy to use, training is quick & simple for Sales & Marketing Teams. Great onboarding team at ZoomInfo to make sure all integrations are working smoothly. Value is very good for the high quality data provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing about ZoomInfo that I dislike. The application is best in class.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo helped us with our lead gen strategy and research for ABM.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend.
DiscoverOrg is Worth It
What do you like best about the product?
Direct Dials, OrgCharts, and new data cleanliness make prospecting and the data management between ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and SalesLoft easier than it was in the past. With tools like NeverBounce, they stand behind their data quality now better than before, and are using the DiscoverOrg resources to constantly vet the data that they supply, which was a weak point of ZoomInfo before the launch of the combined platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Technographics and Scoops aren't always applicable to the Human Resources or Voluntary Benefits, and the team is saying that there is now a steeper learning curve than the old Business Edition 2.0 platform, but ZoomInfo is now offering more comprehensive training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple ways to reach prospects, as well as access to the Org Charts for added multi-threading capabilities. Having this data on hand is crucial in a COVID world that is now fully digital, there's no longer business card collecting or booths to have at events.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pay the premium and upgrade to the combined platform, the quantity and quality of the data available is excellent. The new Visualforce page that plugs directly into Salesforce from the AppExchange is great, it's basically a fully functional site plugged right into your CRM.
Helps find and confirm contact info
What do you like best about the product?
Search by company or prospect name. Provides direct phone in most cases and email address. Also other useful information.
What do you dislike about the product?
List import limits are a little restrictive. Could be updated quicker in some cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Build out accounts for outreach with ease. Can find correct contact information for contacts at within my named account list.
Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the data is far and away the best out there. The inclusion of cell phone numbers, especially in the era of Covid-19 and so many people working from home was an absolute game changer. Our connection rates are way up and our sales team is spending markedly less time prospecting.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing negative that comes to mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The two biggest problems were the time wasted prospecting and looking for good contact info, as well as connecting with those prospects in the office. Zoom solved both those issues.
Best in Class.
What do you like best about the product?
Detailed Email & Direct Dial Phone Numbers
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface to mine contacts can be cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to reach out directly to potential customers, and determine if we have a possibility to work together.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't wait any longer!
Zoominfo has it all!
What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to find contacts, especially C-level contacts, really makes my job so much easier. One of the best things I really like about Zoom... I'd say 75% of the contacts also have a cell number. I've set several meetings with contacts that I've reached out to via their cell, it's awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's an occasion when I do get someone that's been retired for a few years, but it rarely happens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My job is to make outbound calls to companies to introduce our company and product. Having the ability to find the contacts that I need to reach, makes it a lot easier than calling the main number to a business, to find the contact. Zoom info provides their direct dial number, which makes my job so much easier.
I save so much time in my daily routine, I don't know what I would use in its place.
I save so much time in my daily routine, I don't know what I would use in its place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend Zoominfo. Take back hours in your day with a tool that does it all for you!
A great B2B database if you have the extra cash
What do you like best about the product?
It's nice when they actually have the correct and updated info of the companies and contacts that you're looking for. It's nice to be able to use the Salesforce integration to be able to sync data and get things added with just a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inaccurate data. It sort of defeats the purpose when the data is incorrect and contacts are no longer at the company. You might not find out until later until after you've sent an email that ends up bouncing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding a list of target accounts using search criteria that mimics the profile of our top clients. We were able to get a preliminary list of roughly 1000 accounts that fit our ideal buyer persona. It was nice to be able to add them all into Salesforce with a few clicks, saving lots of time in the process. When the contact's data is accurate and found in the database, it saves a lot of time being able to find their contact info and seamlessly sync it with our Salesforce instance. It's only been a month or so, so I'm hoping that we're only scratching the surface.
User friendly, centralized prospecting tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Consistent and effective customer support, detailed level of filters in which to search, ease of uploading data and extracting lists and reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to see prevent previously downloaded contacts from one team account when logged in as another user. You can get charge multiple credits if 3 different users choose to extract data on Jane Doe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ineffective lists generating high bounce rates, Being able to clean dirty data using Never Bounce functionality. Grabbing intents and signals to create impactful messaging during a buying surge.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its pricey but it will pay for itself, even inside a smaller company. The team hours we save allow us to get farther with less overhead, all day long.
Great Prospecting Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Amount of contacts. Scoops are a key tool to have.
What do you dislike about the product?
email listings. Not all downloads have emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
