Marketing Intel for Building Pinpoint Focused Contact Lists
What do you like best about the product?
List creation is mostly drop-dead simple, and very powerful. An alternative to saving a list is contact tagging. Unlike some services, ZoomInfo lets you specify meaningful phrases as tags. Exporting is relatively easy, and you have the option of CSV or your Salesforce org as your target.
What do you dislike about the product?
While they conform to RFC 4180, the CSV output of long text fields, such as the Description includes embedded line breaks, rendering them unusable with Microsoft Excel without the help of a transformation script. Thankfully, I already had one that I wrote to meet the same requirement for a CSV export from Seamless. The other think that annoys me is that the authentication module seems to ignore my instructions to trust my machine for future logins, so I get a 2FA prompt at every login.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating pinpoint focused lists of contacts to feed into our Salesforce org and our ConnectLeader cadences and dialers.

What do you like best about the product?
Quality of the data. And Doug's service level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Change from DiscoverOrg to ZoomInfo meaning it moves to a 'reveal' model. Not helpful for an outbound demand gen company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We sell Demand Gen services thus need to have a robust database.
Zoom Info is an awesome tool I'd definitely recommend.
What do you like best about the product?
I have had a very positive experince with ZoomInfo because of the quality data I have been able to pull and how accurate it's been. Specifically, the support team/trainers have been second to none with their willingness to help you sharpen your skills and maximize the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything that I dislike as it is pretty intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving how to get to the decision maker quicker because of the job roles I am ble to get accurate contact information for.
Best Lead Gen and Intelligence Tool on the Market
What do you like best about the product?
The accuracy of the data, intent, and Hubspot integration! While it is not the cheapest, it is the best. I compared 10 of these lower cost tools prior to moving forward and the data always came back weak. I have gotten numbers and emails that evaded us for months or years. THe team has been incredible on implementation as we are a bit of a one off. The software, service, and value are in the top 5% of tools we utilize.
What do you dislike about the product?
You get what you pay for in this life - this isn't the cheapest tool. You have to decide how valuable Lead Generation and accuracy of your prospect and customer data really is to the organization. The answer should always be the highest investment priority in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead and List Generation, Accuracy of Customer Data, Customized Deployment, and integration withour CRM.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Shop 1-2 other to compare the data...it will be a no brainer.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use. You can search by company name, contact name, company size, location, employee count, annual revenue, etc. Usually, the information found there is information that isn't found anywhere else and is accurate contact info to get to the person you are trying to reach. It would be impossible to do my job without ZoomInfo. The ability to upload the found data into our CRM is so easy and compatible. I have found that the administrators at Podium have been able to adjust certain settings to get more info or less uploaded into accounts that I am working and it makes it nice not having to go back and forth between the CRM and ZoomInfo to get the information uploaded. I have also seen that if the contact has a Linkedin account, that there is a link within the contact page to be directed to their page. Easy one-stop shop for all the information I need to be successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know that the software does its best uploading the most accurate contact information possible, but it would be nice if it updated quicker, with any role changes within the company. I haven't used the email checker, but I would recommend automatically checking the validity of emails, before posting the information for a contact. That would make one less step for the user to find out the accuracy of the lead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting and outreach. If you are looking for KDMs or champions within an organization and you need their contact information, this will do it for you. The ease of uploading the found information into Salesforce is so great! I have used other prospecting tools from plugins with Linkedin and have found that the data within ZoomInfo is extremely accurate and helpful. The time it takes me to discover all the champions and KDMs within a specific company is cut by like 500%. No joke, I can spend hours on Linkedin and Google searching for information that is found within minutes by using ZoomInfo. It also makes my job easier by not having to call every location of every company and doing investigative work to find out who the KDM is and what their contact information is.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a software that saves you time and money, ZoomInfo will do it for you. As a sales tool, it is by far the best thing I have ever used. I used to spend hours and hours researching, calling, and negotiating to get any type of champion or KDM contact information. Now, I search a name, title, company name and I have all that information at my fingertips. The good thing is that these contacts never question how I got their information. ZoomInfo's algorithm must pull this info from social sites and websites.
ZoomInfo - Robust Database, Great Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
Since acquiring Discover.org ZoomInfo's database has grown exponentially helping our company to drive powerful results with more key accounts and contacts. Michael and Tim are our dream team. They always accommodate requests, are easy to work with, and offer strategic advise. They're a great partner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their portal/platform could use some work. I think it could be a little more intuitive. Export fields, suppressions, preview vs buy, etc. are a bit confusing if you're not in the tool all the time. It would be great if they could output some of the info you're filtering on in the platform such as competitive data.

Contact acquisition in accounts where we have gaps, competitive take-outs, contact record enrichment

Get some good hands on training and take notes. The data and platform can be powerful if you can navigate.
Hiring needs filled efficiently
What do you like best about the product?
Up-to-date information and ease of use, combined with additional information such as direct competitors. While not every single company is in the system, Zoominfo is constantly updating and adding new information. The ability to find candidates that no one else is currently speaking with is a huge help as well. I have found candidates that had zero interest in making a change, so instead, we talk about the market. Being able to discuss the current market situation with someone that is directly in the field has helped immensely as well. The office I work in has been able to take this information and adapt accordingly while navigating the current covid situation.
The website is well designed and very easy to use. Being able to adjust my search criteria quickly has led to even faster completion of filling open job orders.

What do you dislike about the product?
Rarely, the information is out of date or completely wrong, but it is fairly rare. I do wish that all employees were listed as well. I know that part is rather difficult to obtain, but one can dream! Being able to open companies on multiple tabs would be beneficial as well!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working on completing our database of construction workers, while also finding fantastic talent. Zoominfo allows us to truly find talent from well-known companies. It has led to finding candidates that no one else would find because they are not listed on other sites like LinkedIn or a company website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is well worth using if you are looking to find talent from direct competitors. I highly recommend ZoomInfo! If you are still on the fence, reach out to others to see their thoughts as well! The website is easy to use, the information is up-to-date 99% of the time, and new companies/information is constantly being added. If you want to do true headhunting this is the best tool on the market to do so! The searches are able to be modified to meet your exact search requirements or be as vague as you want.
I have done searches in multiple states for different positions, and every time I am able to get new leads that were previously not on there. This will be well worth the investment, I can nearly guarantee it!

Great experience so far, smooth onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
The UX is intuitive, really helpful to be able to search for companies and contacts simultaneously, pleasant onboarding experience, helpful contacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
it would be great if you could select more than 25 contacts at a time when tagging them. ( this is the max you can view on a page.

Must Have Prospecting Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The information is so easy to see, the org charts are great, the companies information is all right there. And the ease of sync into SalesForce is fantastic. Additionally, the Zoom extension tool for LinkedIn is a major gamechanger when hunting new accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are in the SMB space, a lot of smaller companies will not show up with anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The time savings is outstanding. Not just the information you get from the tool, but the sync it has with SalesForce saves a ton of time. You can also directly import accounts from LinkedIn into SalesForce as well by using the extension.

If you used and liked Discoverorg, this is better and you'll love it

What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg and Zoom almost always have what I'm looking for, at least for larger accounts. I work public sector and a lot of the time they don't have the smaller accounts. Every now and then I can't find the large ones I need as well. GovWin is usually better for public sector, but there have recently been many occassions when Zoom Info has more information on even public sector accounts than GovWin does! I've surprised the federal team on more occasions than one.
Overall, super happy with the tool. I couldn't do my job without it.

What do you dislike about the product?
ZoomInfo keeps trying to kick me off DiscoverOrg, but I still like that functionality better than ZoomInfo. The UX is just nicer. And it seems like there are several accounts I can't find information for in ZoomInfo that I can in DiscoverOrg. Also, ZoomInfo always has annoying pop ups when I log in.
Also, like I said, sometimes they just don't have the info. Most of the time they do though. Great great tool.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My job is based around targeting net-new space that we aren't already in. ZoomInfo helps me find contacts and operate to find who I need to reach out to. I love being able to export contact lists, competitor data, financial information, etc.
