Best Prospecting Tool I've Used in 17 years of sales!
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about ZoomInfo are the detailed filters for not only company searches, but contact searches as well. Competitors products leave a lot to be desired when it comes to searching for contacts. I support a territory with over 100,000 customer and prospects, Zoom makes it very easy to zero in on the prospects I want to focus on. Hi have found the records in Zoom to be far more accurate to other data sources I have access to.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to ZoomInfo is that it isn't supported in IE, which is the preferred browser for the company that I work for. It isn't a huge deal, it is just a little inconvenient when you have to have multiple browsers open. I have also noticed for certain verticals like medical, the results are limited. While medical practices may be small, they present a tremendous amount of opportunity for most technology companies in terms of software and services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has given me the ability to drill down into a very large sales territory and find the top 10% of prospects very easily. It is saving me time and effort on a daily basis and my hope is that once we get SalesForce.com it will integrate with that product and make things even more efficient!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoom is the easiest and most detailed prospecting tool I have ever used. I would highly recommend giving it a try.
Great tool for finding contacts
What do you like best about the product?
Massive database with tons of information. They improved their UI recently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not always the most accurate, but seems to be the most accurate out there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to get in touch with high level prospects.
Decent Info, But Outdated Contacts & Company Size Often Incorrect
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the ability to create saved searches for companies and contacts I would target for my accounts and territory. Also, I liked seeing hierarchy of who reports to who, and getting phone and email (when it would be available and correct). If I found that there was incorrect info (such as contact no longer at company), it was relatively easy to submit that to the DiscoverOrg team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Constantly would have incorrect info on company size (my employer only purchased 1K+ employees), and contacts would not be available to view...even when LinkedIn would show 1K+ employees. There was no method to contact DiscoverOrg to make a fix on the incorrect company size, at least that I could see. Also, I found a LOT of contacts that were no longer employed at target accounts/companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped speed up my time to map accounts and determine contacts to target. By getting info faster, I was able to meet sales goals quicker.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This was a good tool for a smaller company's sales team. Unsure if it would meet mid-market or enterprise companies, as info was not always correct inside DiscoverOrg.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of finding contact information for all sorts of people within my target accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the ability to find new contacts within those accounts, the search function does not work well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our database is not robust enough, I’ve been able to build up my accounts with ease.
Great tool for reference
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it shows map, locations, responsibilities and LNKD profile. It also shows potential interests.
What do you dislike about the product?
The information is not always accurate, but it has a variety so at least 2 of the items are usually correct. This is used best as reference in conjunction with other tools.

Great tool. It is best when used as reference in conjunction with other tools. If you're limited on budget, I would use that in conjunction with free resources like LinkedIn for better alignment and to help prioritize time.
Researched a lot of tools but this one is heads and tails above the others

Intuitive tool and all the contacts I need to quadruple our sales!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. It is a great tool. Had a question for customer support and got a quick response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves time digging for contact names and emails. Allows us to put more into our pipeline and faster.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at the other providers and judge for yourself - everything from the customer service provided by sales to the ease of onboarding to the functionality of the tool is excellent.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part is filtering by company location, size, revenue, technology, and even employee position.
What do you dislike about the product?
The information is out of date. Sometimes more than a year. The technology and insights tab seem to be even worse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting is easier in that I can qualify a company based on location and size.

What do you like best about the product?
I do like the fact that I can upload from DOrg to my CRM. I also like that there are LinkedIn profile links, that helps me verify persons of contact
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest thing for me that I feel is lacking is a page widget (idk what the correct term is). But, with zoominfo you could download the widget to chrome. Then there would be a little button in the bottom right of your CRM or Salesloft page that would open up a small pane to the right. That pane would be your active zoominfo research area. Which meant you never needed to leave your CRM to do contact research.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is definitely a strong prospecting tool that allows for quick CRM updates and uploads. I am able to get a 85-90% accurate financials and tech info (depending on last update to that company's DOrg profile)

What do you like best about the product?
Most of the contacts in the company are correct. It's extremely easy to do advanced searches and narrow the results down.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do run into quite a few that are outdated. It needs to be easier for me to report that a contact is incorrect. Maybe a button right next to the name.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without DiscoverOrg it would be very hard to find the contacts and the phone numbers I need....or at least it would be much more time consuming.

I like how easy it is to create lists with the parameters of my choice.

Some of the data is old. I've reached out to some employees that no longer work at that company.

I'm getting more correct phone numbers to the contacts that i'm looking for.
