Uncovering Legal Contacts

What do you like best about the product?
The system is extremely easy to use. From searching to running reports the entire process is user-friendly. The searching abilities are fantastic. You can search on many different levels, you can search by filters, and you also have the ability to search by simply providing a list. It's an essential tool for any marketing team. Also a hidden notification called "scoops" has been instrumental in helping us identify accounts to reach out to that have needs for our product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative I have experienced is when DiscoverOrg is unable to locate a prospect and their information. Aside from that, there isn't anything that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DiscovOrg works perfectly for our team when we are targeting companies and unable to find the legal contacts. Another bonus for marketing is the correct email addresses and all the additional information outside of name, title, and email that are provided. The sales team also uses the tool to find contacts when ours are outdated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend this tool for any marketing team. It helps keep your database clean and update, it's a great tool for ABM, and it works well for verifying contacts. I also recommend this tool for sales teams, while they might use it differently they would still see the benefit and ROI within a month of use.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the amount of good contact data.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I cant easily return to a company search after I have opened a contact. When I back up in the browser it takes me back to start the search again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting to the C-Level of an organization and pushing a sale to close much faster.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything, DiscoverOrg has the best product on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike. A feature request, track funded status, and then upload contacts to our CRM directly based on funding rounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying top prospects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great data - beats ZoomInfo hands down.

What do you like best about the product?
The google plug in. The plug in makes it super easy to use linkedin to browse for potential contacts and find their contact information (email, phone number) right there. This makes prospecting 10x easier.

The actual website tools are great too to build out sales list and export them easily to your CRM or an excel doc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data is not 100% accurate. It is close enough (about 90%) to not be a huge problem. Emails are usually good but some HQ numbers are not accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales prospecting and attaining new clients. Without zoom, it would be very hard to break into new companies and hit my sales numbers.

What do you like best about the product?
If they had sold me what they said I was getting I would have been pleased. However what was received was not what I was told.
What do you dislike about the product?
They conned me into signing a contract. It was not what i agreed to purchase over the phone. Be careful do not sign a contract until you know what you are buying. I was told I would have access to hundred of thousands of email address's from different companies. The email address of the IT director was all I wanted and they knew that. In reality once the contract was signed and I was able to look in the actual database what i found were companies with 20 to 50+ contacts per the same company which was ridiculous. If they had told me that upfront I never would have agreed to this. I signed up in March and less than 2 weeks later after seeing what they really had sold me I told them I wanted to cancel they laughed and they told me they wouldn't let me out of my contract. Also they only want to talk on the phone anything they send in a email does not describe in detail what you are getting. I am now being sued. BEWARE of what you are buying.

What do you like best about the product?
The plugin. It actually doesn't work based on what was sold to me. We never know if the account is already in Salesforce or who owns it. They couldn't solve my problem, blamed salesforce, and sent me a horrible workaround. It's clear there are no engineers working for them (no bug fixes or software updates).
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is awful, they treat you like dirt. We didn't have an account manager for a year. Every time you ask them for help they apologize and tell you "it has been crazy over here". We are now on our 3rd account manager, which has been a frustrating experience.

Oddly enough they asked me to do a reference call, shows how much they know about your account...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a redundant tool, it's helpful next to nothing but there are way better tools in the space I will be switching shortly. Clearbit or LeadIQ are much better. BUYER BEWARE

Stay away and pick a modern tool!

What do you like best about the product?
the company and individual date that is always being updated is invaluable. This saves hours oh research and frees us up to do other tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an ability to view company locations

Zoominfo is the best tool I use everyday for finding and importing leads quickly and easily

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to while on a SFDC account page add contacts from the plugin in salesforce. I can quickly import 20 contacts like nothing to get into campaigns fast and easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the credit limit structures. I didn't even know I was running out of credits until the tool didn't let me import anymore contacts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to quickly pinpoint exactly who to reach out to in order to sell. We're also able to save energy going into multiple tools within LinkedIn vs. just use a SFDC plugin.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend using it as somebody who has used a lot of SI tools this is one that will help you tremendously.

What do you like best about the product?
I loved the easiness of use, and the accuracy of the information in the tool. I used it to find the direct phone numbers of my sales prospects and found it to be very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very minor problem but sometimes old contact information and companies the people worked for were in there. It was easy to navigate through that but would be helpful to take off if they left the company some time ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding direct lines for hard-to-reach prospective clients. It had immense benefits as there were dozens of examples in which I was able to find the phone number/email of a sales prospect and that led to a sales interaction that eventually led to deals closing

What do you like best about the product?
My organization deals with large OEMs. We needed a tool to get to specific contacts and departments. ZoomInfo has been an outstanding additional and replaced a more expensive, less productive tool. We've had multiple sales reps site ZoomInfo has the reason they were able to penetrate an account.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had difficultly finding companies by specific industry. For instance, if I was looking for food processing companies in Ohio, my list wasn't as expansive has I had expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously used D&B Hoovers. While we were able to find company data, their contact data was suspect at best. Moreover, that contact data was still "high level," meaning it typically just pointed you at the HQ phone number. ZoomInfo helped us get past the gate keeper and speak directly with the decision makers, such as the purchasing and engineering departments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We used the trial with about 8 of our reps. That was all it took. Each was convinced after the trial that this was the product we needed.
