Love love love this product!

What do you like best about the product?
I couldn't sing the praises of this product enough. As a complete web addict who is fully immersed in many many online communities I needed a solution that stores my passwords and urls and notes in one easy to use space. 1Password is the tool for me. It works on all my devices - iPad, iPhone, desktop and syncs seamlessly so no matter what device I add a new password onto - it's captured everywhere. Brilliant!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of a single thing that I dislike about 1Password. It is expensive to buy as apps go, but it's wonderful value for money and they are constantly sending regular updates and tweaks. They also make it easy when you buy a new laptop for example to transfer over to a new device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of course is that most sites and communities require a login and password. Unless you use the same password for everything which is hugely risky you eventually lose track of what you've used for what. 1Password solves this problem as it can generate high strength passwords (that you could never remember) and lock them all safely away. All you have to do is remember one password!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're struggling to keep track of all your passwords then this is the app for you. It also has other benefits though. If you key in all your credit card details and various membership numbers (basically anything found in your wallet) if you lose your wallet, then it's all there for you, you don't have to go scrambling through years worth of paperwork. I also use it to keep track of other important information such as insurance policies, or internet passwords etc.

A Must Have Utility in a Competitive Space

What do you like best about the product?
I've tried every password manager, but through it all 1Password has been my primary. The cross platform applications (Mac, Windows iOS and more) are best in class, dropbox syncing makes my data (encrypted) available wherever I need it. The integrations with iOS are deeper than any other provider, giving you access to your passwords inside of apps. On top of all this, they recently released Teams, which makes this offering friendly for families or companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
A feature that some other apps have that 1Password does not is the ability to automatically change your password on certain sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing passwords for myself to the various cloud services I use personally and for work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate the cross platform licencing options and the family pack. Also review the new Teams offering, depending on your situation you may be OK just buying the software or the Teams SaaS offering may be a better fit. I am using the software option with dropbox to sync.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use. I thought it would be complicated but it's not. There are options to make it accessible through a Google plug-in and on mobile.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike having to enter my master password whenever I try to enter in a password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using it to save passwords for our different brands and not having to memorize them when I can just reveal and copy + paste.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend this to people that want to hide their passwords and make sure no one can access their passwords.

Maintaining My Password Sanity

  • June 08, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can keep my passwords organized and searchable, and in one place, and then I can access them on all my devices. Integration with the operating system and various browsers is so convenient, and iOS TouchID makes accessing passwords on mobile much faster. Auto synchronization means I don't have to worry about remembering the latest additions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little spendy at first, but worth every penny, and there's are recurring monthly charges, so it's not really a negative. It was annoying to also have to use my lengthy password each time my phone rebooted, but now there's a button to tap to use TouchID even in those cases, so that annoyance was solved by the developers!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everyone knows how difficult it can be to keep track of passwords, but it's impossible when you add lots of client information, logins, etc. to the mix, and time-wasting to have to search through nonsecure spreadsheets and sticky notes. This keeps everything in one place, and even allows me to create secure passwords I could never remember (the safest kind), yet remembers them for me. Time saved, sanity maintained!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Review your device needs and check out the package deals available on the company's website. You can also download demos to try before buying.

An amazing password tool

  • May 20, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to securely store everything from passwords to application serial numbers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. 1Password is an amazing program I recommend to everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to have truly random and secure passwords for all my web logins.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Buy it. It works great for personal use, team use (with their new teams product), and is available on mobile as well.

It's the second app I install on a new computer (the first is Dropbox, which I use to sync my 1Password database) and I have it installed on all my iOS devices.

Best individual password manager on the market

  • May 19, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It has a high quality interface that is good for storing all kinds of secrets, not just passwords. Things like software licenses, driver's license information, etc. It also has a feature where it will audit the quality of your passwords and remind you to rotate passwords that are old.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit expensive, and it requires separate licenses for each platform (although they do offer site licensing for business).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As with any password manager, it solves the problem of storing all the various passwords a user might have to remember for their job. This allows passwords more complicated passwords to be set, which in turn provides more security.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password is easily the most polished password manager I have ever used. It ties in to a number of different syncing services (icloud, dropbox, etc), and it also offers password auditing, and is very privacy-minded in its features (i.e. the implementation of 'watchtower').

Best password manager—hands-down!

  • May 15, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have used at least five different password managers, and none come even close to the integration, functionality, user interface, and overall ease and pleasure of experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I am beginning to sound like a sponsored promoter of this product. I promise I'm not!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: Passwords are hard to remember, and hard passwords are even harder to remember.
Solution: 1P!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I strongly encourage anyone in need of a password manager to try this one out!

1password helps us remember passwords and create more secure ones

  • May 11, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We can create and securely store passwords. We can access them from our desktop and mobile devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish it were easier to rotate passwords - like it could remind me to rotate key ones at some interval.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall security is improved. If you have a tool to remember your passwords you are more likely to create really secure ones and not use the same password for all services.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for the 1password for Teams option to share vaults with other users.

A Must Have for Both Power and Basic Users

  • May 03, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It makes my life so easy because it smoothly store my passwords and fill-in them when needed.
It also supports multiple credentials/logins and two-step authentication.
If you're family user, you may also want to consider 1Password Family.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Mac and iOS version of this app is awesome. But the Windows version is crappy. It's both slow and ugly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For security reason, my company requires me to change password every 6 months. It's such a pain until I used 1Password.
First it coudl generate a password according to certain criteria I chose.
Then it stored the password when the first time I use it on a website.
Then when you need to login, it will automatically fill-in them for you.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have lots of different passwords for different logins, then you'd better consider 1Password.
It generates, stores and fills in passwords automatically.
It saves life!
