1Password to Rule 'em All
What do you like best about the product?
1Password allows you to attain highest form of security by creating strong passwords that you don't have to remember for individual software/applications. 1Password has both applications for windows and mac, while also being available on your web-browser so it is easy to use it on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that I have to go somewhere to create a strong password, it would be very helpful if 1Password had that functionality baked in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is extremely easy to create and share vault's with others.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Reliable and easy to setup, would recommend!
Great way to keep all of your password safe and secure (work and personal)
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to start to save password, documents, credit card details, digitally and accessible whenever you need it . Mobile version works great with iPhone and easily able to manage the different logins just like on desktop
What do you dislike about the product?
Little difficult to set up (which makes sense for security). If you don't have dropbox always connected or updated with your back ui it can get annoying for mobile
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining passwords safely, being able to generate unique, complex passwords to be used for added security.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The setup can be confusing, but pay attention since it's important and the reason why they are secure. Great way to manage all your passwords for you and your team.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
Does exactly what it promises. Great implantation with all major browsers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn’t work with Vivaldi. Subscription pricing is too $$$. I
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for security since no longer is it just one password for every site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With new functionality coming with Apple products, I don’t see a future for this.
Reliable Password Manager with ample features
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using 1Password for nearly 3 years, and it is one of the best password manager softwares with all the basics done right.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though the desktop version(Mac) is available to purchase for a one time fee, the full version of the app for Android/Iphone requires subscription, which I hate. I can pay 20$ for the software as a one-time fee, but not 3$ per month forever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using a password manager has become essential, since you cannot use the same password for all the websites, because if a hacker gets access to your password in one of your account, he could basically break in to all the sites to which you have the same password. I like the password generator functionality of 1Password which helps you create a password based on custom rules that you can define. Also, the WatchTower functionality in the Desktop App will review the passwords and advice whether you're having bad/repeated passwords, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password is the best software for password management in the market. If you're ok with the cost of the product, look no further than 1Password. There are other free alternatives such as LastPass which are almost as good as 1Password.
Great password management app
What do you like best about the product?
1Password has made it possible to use multiple secure passwords for different accounts and be confident that you’ll remember the password when you need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to store secure files and other features requires a premium account. Which is only a minor disadvantage considering the application is well worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier accountability of passwords. The ability to store passwords makes working with multiple accounts more inherently efficient.
Simple, but good
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to manage. It's very user friendly and I don't have to worry about trying to keep track of all of my passwords. I have lots of frequent travel accounts for work and this app makes it easy to keep track of all my unique passwords. The recent integration into the new Apple iOS is great too!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the prettiest app. There are also a number of common log-ins that are not options, which means I don't have the icons for all of them. Not the worst in the world, but it would make it easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to keep track of passwords. I don't have to call IT help to have my password re-set
get password switchblade
What do you like best about the product?
The multiple extensions and application available for 1password is one of the best things.
What do you dislike about the product?
That the integration in mobile apps so that you can have the password directly filled out by the 1password app isn't as widespread.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security, definitely security. After starting to use 1Password I now have a different password for every account which is something that could not be said before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out the chrome apps and the phone apps, also you can use dropbox to keep your 1password in sync.
Don't know how i lived without it
What do you like best about the product?
1Password is just a great tool for storing all of my passwords and other info like credit card details. The autofill options is super handy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The autofill feature regularly stops working when I haven't upgraded to the latest browser update yet, and that's pretty annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a marketing manager I have what feels like a billion social media accounts in addition to the project management, tracking and collaboration tools we use. I don't know what I would do without a tool that is able to store all of these passwords for me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it.
I have been using 1Password for the past 2 years and it's an excellent experience.
What do you like best about the product?
The software has a nice and clean interface, easy to use, very fast and it's so reliable and natural I almost started to forget websites still use passwords, it just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Chrome plugin sometimes becomes unresponsive and I need to refresh the page or exit/reopen the 1Password software "process" from the Task Manager to get it to work, I wish there was a "reset" button to restart the process in an easy way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use a plethora of web services as part of my daily workload, as a security conscious tech guy, I'm required to use a different password for each website I signup to, which proves to be too difficult in practice, now with the 1Password software, I simply create a very long random password for each website I signup to and it'll log me in with no hassle each time I need to use that website, this saves me precious time and effort.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would strongly recommend you give it a try, you will love it and it'll be part of your workflow in no time.
Best Password Manager around
What do you like best about the product?
1Password is simple and intuitive. It integrates with all browsers, you can use a keyboard shortcut, a browser extension or the tray icon. It also integrates with different operative systems, whether desktop or mobile. There's a master password to access all of them and the password generator can create a random one and save it after you signup the service you're trying to register.
If you use Apple devices, you can use sincronize or Vault (where your passwords are) between devices. It's the best security application. It helps your forget about the passwords, forcing you to have more secure standards.
If you use Apple devices, you can use sincronize or Vault (where your passwords are) between devices. It's the best security application. It helps your forget about the passwords, forcing you to have more secure standards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is a bit high (I'm refering to the one-time, not the monthly subscription), but it's worth it. I'm using it for a couple of years and I don't regret it. System integration, from my experience, in OSX (and later, macOS) is not that great. For example, in iTunes you have to use the tray icon and look for your password. This is because of how the system sandboxes applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password management, and more specifically, having strong and different passwords for each service, accessible on any of my devices.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't think twice. It's a stable software. The way the passwords are stored in the Vault is public (meaning, they publish technical information about it) so you can check their high security level.
