Easiest security tool we use
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use. We rarely have questions about how to use the tool after an initial training and support is quick and helpful.
It makes offboarding easy; the usage report helps us understand which logins have been exposed to an exiting employee, so that these passwords can be changed.
We have complicated access rules, so the ability to segregate password access is easy.
For personal use, I greatly appreciate the ability to access my items on mobile.

What do you dislike about the product?
We have some niche needs, like automatic access expiration, that are not met yet. We recognize that this is a need unique to our team, but it would go a long way in making access management easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offboarding is easier. We no longer have to spend a day changing all test user passwords when an employee leaves the organization. The usage report makes it easy to filter that effort to only when has been viewed or used.
Password security is stronger. 1Password keeps people out of spreadsheets, notebooks, Slack, and post-its. We are no longer fighting the habit of sharing passwords in a ppt deck or on a training room whiteboard.
Access management is simplified. We can easily see who has access to which org and remove folks as their necessity to view passwords expires.
Logging in is so much easier. The chrome add-on and mobile access is incredibly helpful.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Commit to training employees. Its success is only in the full adoption from the team.
An easy to use solution for the password problem
What do you like best about the product?
We no longer have to share passwords insecurely via email, text, or Slack. Passwords can be securely shared via 1Password and distributed on a need to know basis via 1Password vaults. We create a password vault for each client and only share the passwords with the appropriate employees. 1Password also supports 2FA and has a mobile app so it works for all my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything right now. Once I exported my browser passwords to 1Password, I didn't have conflicting tools trying to auto fill my logins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securely saving and sharing passwords among our agency. 1Password allows me to update passwords in one place and each team member doesn't need to be notified.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it. A password manager is a must. Weak passwords and reused passwords are the biggest threat today. 1Password will alert you of password breaches, reused passwords, and weak passwords.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some features have a learning curve.....
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use dozens of services, for which I all need passwords. We also share services and accounts within our company in a shared vault, this is very user friendly and safe.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't wait. And take some time to update all your passwords. Once you have 1Password you will soon get annoyed with accounts that are not in your vault yet.
One password-manager to rule them all
What do you like best about the product?
The auto-fill model, including filling the one-time password.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Safari updates break it, so we have to wait a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using an unique password per website/service plus keeping track of the various passwords for databases, wireless networks, and more.
Not to forget how good the one-time password (OTP) support is. It makes it so easy to move to a new phone and more.
Amazing product!

1Password: A solution for security, reduced costs/resources and great customer service to boot.
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to securely share credentials to reduce purchasing licenses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without a biometric secured device it can be repetitive to enter the 1Pass password as often as prompted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to ensure regular password changes are enacted and do not impact productivity.
We have been able to reduce spending by increasing the usage of shared licenses for software subscriptions.
We are better able to streamline process ownership by tracking duplicate credentials and relationships with vendors by requiring log in credentials are documented in shared vaults.
Providing a free personal vault for employees to use has led to great participation and usage of the platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
That permissions are only tied to vaults, and not to individual entries.
We would like to control access by vault AND individual entries.
Configuring group Recovery privileges also requires Admin Sidebar privileges.
Rotating passwords when employees leave, but that is not your fault.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every password we have is centralized in 1Password and that is the only way passwords are shared.
More importantly, it has centralized all my passwords at home as well, and I even sold my wife on it!

What do you dislike about the product?
- It would be good to have tempates, rather than duplicating a "template" file.
- Can be fiddly to set up browser extensions — they can lose permission and then don't work.
- When creating a new login, sometimes it just saves the password and you can't set the login email or label to use.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Has always been a solid option for a password manager across many platforms, devices and use cases. Always works well, easy to administer and use, easy to teach others how to use. Compared to other competitors, is not clunky and feels secure.
Reliable and secure
What do you like best about the product?
1Password (Teams) is what I consider, as high praise, "boring technology" — it does its job, it does it well, and I don't have to think about it. When it does surprise me, it's always been something that I come to appreciate fairly quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have any dislikes with 1Password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use 1Password Teams to deal with individual password management, and to share sensitive credentials across teams and groups.
