1Password

What do you like best about the product?
Simple, easy and quick to manage. Excellent password generation, very easily meets all standards, is actually not hard to use and has a really intuitive interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frequent browser updates might interrupt the relationship having the 1Password plugin. it is not really a serious issue, though It is the only bad thing I can consider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1PW makes it very easy to transfer private info to several spots. The moment and effort I place into this particular allowed me to save a great deal of cash.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not mistake it together with the password supervisor made into Chrome: 1 of them is actually a security flaw since it now stores the passwords of yours in many locations and has difficulty clicking on two versions of Chrome, that is a Google issue, not 1Password'.

A great product for home and enterprise

  • August 13, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
That 1Password is easy to use with multiple options to access one's vault. Administration is similarly simple and can be controlled through AD Security Groups for RBAC.

A close second is that an Enterprise contract gives our users access to home use as well allowing our users to keep up good security practices for their home accounts as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
In ability to create templates for access. We have a lot of vaults with two or more groups for security, each group has slightly different permissions, it's not difficult to set up just a pain when I need to create multiple at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved from a half implemented Cyberark installation without maintenance to 1Password. It allowed us to easily implement new users and shared vaults.

The Watchtower feature has been quite helpful in teaching and promotting good password usage
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It may have gotten better but in 2019 trying to use Docker in Azure to deploy an SCIM bridge was a non-starter. After working with support we could never get it working and moved to Google Cloud Platform.

1Password

What do you like best about the product?
I love creating exceptional slogans for all my calls and services without fear of missing them. Sometimes I even search for duplicate passwords to make them all look very different.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing very wrong with 1password
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think there's only one account if the site I'm using has a security breach. I have a unique and secure password for all my interactions with other sites. This speeds up the flow of data by keeping and automating multiple logins, filling out forms, etc. I have freed much space for the iPhone. I was able to remove many applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool for environments that have many passwords. To develop a well thought-out naming strategy that will allow you to identify each page and user.

What do you like best about the product?
1Password is easy and integrates with computers and browsers (and smartphones and tablets) to quickly and easily manage passwords, software licenses, and more. Also, has a feature to make sure passwords that are reused or common are flagged to help you keep things more secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times I've fount has had issues with browser extentions, getnerally restarting the computer fixed the issue. Typically comes after an update, so not a huge issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to share passwords with a team of people. Availability to give access to important passwords and avoid the written down under the keyboard problem that is very common.

1Password is fully integrated across all my devices: iMac, Macbook, iPhone and iPad. The password generator makes it easy to create strong passwords. Autofill makes it easy to login everywhere. The Chrome and Safari plugins make it even easier.

After 7 years, 1Password Still the Best

  • July 24, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using 1Password for over seven years, and it’s still the best password manager I’ve found. I lead IT for a major nonprofit organization, and two years ago we tested and used other password managers, but no other product matched 1Password in terms of ease of use and quality of support materials. We have onboarded over 150 to 1Password and my users are thrilled. It works seamlessly across devices whether Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone, or iPad. Many of my users have set up 1Password Families as well for their personal use. I appreciate the steady improvements they’ve made to the product including the excellent browser plug-in for Chrome and Firefox. It also excels at storing and filling those one-time passwords that are required by many websites with multi-factor authentication. It prevents me for having to reach for my phone all the time. If you care about the security of your data, you need 1Password.
What do you dislike about the product?
When setting up your account, it can take a few minutes to configure each device individually. But it’s necessary and well worth the payoff of always having your passwords securely, but easily. available at all times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization uses 1Password to securely share passwords with co-workers in their teams. They need to share bank account information or access privileges to shared systems. It makes it easy to strengthen passwords as needed, such as when a person leaves the organization.

Best of its kind password manager

  • July 23, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1Password lets you keep track of all your passwords in an easy to use web application. With just one master password - you can keep all your passwords accessible at any time. It is also easy to update passwords in 1Password as many software tools require you to change your passwords on set intervals. The UI and UX of the application just as simple and customizable as it needs to be - with the user being able to sort the passwords by titles or categories, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a little tricky to set up in the first place - but once you have your master password set up it is a very convenient app to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Passwords helps me and my team keep track of our multiple and ever-updating passwords in one place on our desktops.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password does everything it needs to do - and does it well!

Easy Password Management for Work and Personal

  • July 16, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use and provided security for all needed passwords in an organization, individual (both in work and personal) We have a lot of shared accounts amongst different teams, so the ability to file passwords to shared/private/public folders affords better efficiency. Also, the ability to auto-generate one time passwords is a great benefit for admins who may not want constant notifications for one time passwords (via email, mobile, etc)
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like the ability to automatically click into link and auto-full username and password (maybe it exists but has never worked for me personally?)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to manually/log remember passwords for various accounts. Sharing passwords amongst team members. No longer having to save passwords in browser settings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The mobile and desktop app are convenient and crucial in ensuring you have all your passwords on the go
