  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1Password is a secure, helpful way to manage and share passwords across an organization in a secure way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the interface. It's a little tricky to learn at first where everything is saved, and the information architecture is lacking, especially the menu that has ALL the things that someone could add to the platform.

It keeps all my logins in one place, and organized nicely based on work, personal, shared, or private.

Secure, seamless, and easy to use password manager

  • June 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1Password makes password management incredibly simple and secure. I really like how it auto-fills credentials across websites and apps, saving me a lot of time. The vault structure makes it easy to organize work and personal logins separately. The ability to share credentials securely with team members is a great feature too. The interface is user-friendly, even for someone who’s not very tech-savvy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the browser extension can lag or log out, requiring me to log back in manually. Also, it would be great if the pricing was a little more affordable for small teams or individual users. Apart from that, I haven’t faced any major issues with the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password helps us manage and store complex passwords securely, which reduces the risk of breaches or credential leaks. It also solves the challenge of password sharing in a secure and controlled manner, which has improved our team’s productivity and compliance. Managing 2FA tokens in one place makes authentication faster and safer. Overall, it helps us stay organized and maintain strong security hygiene.

Automatic password generation enhances security and simplifies access while a more intuitive search could improve efficiency

  • May 28, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

The use case in my organization for 1Password is to keep secure passwords and rotate passwords.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature of 1Password is the one that automatically generates a password and MFA for me when I try to enter them, instead of going and hardcoding it.

The benefits to my organization of using 1Password are that we get more security and have one place with all the passwords instead of everyone having the same password again and again, so we can just rotate them.

What needs improvement?

I think 1Password is the best solution for passwords right now, despite having a lot of issues with other companies such as LastPass, and while I'm not really sure what to improve, maybe the search engine could be a little less confusing.

I would improve the search engine of 1Password to make it clearer or less confusing.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using 1Password for five years.

What other advice do I have?

The pricing for individuals as personal users of 1Password is fine at around $3 per month.

I compare 1Password to LastPass and found that LastPass had a security breach a couple of years ago, which makes me feel I cannot count on them. We need to secure the passwords as a cybersecurity company, and we must have reliable solutions.

On a scale from 1 to 10, I would give 1Password an eight compared to other products.

I believe we can always find areas to improve, so an eight is good enough.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to integrate with Rippling to roll out seamlessly across our team
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - it's the best password management tool I've used
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed a centralized password manager for SOC 2 compliance. Instead of introducing another tool, we were able to roll it out to everyone through Rippling

Enhanced security through unique password generation and storage

  • September 26, 2024
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

As a personal user, I use 1Password for managing my passwords.

How has it helped my organization?

1Password enhances security by generating and storing unique passwords. You only need to remember your master password, preventing the need to store passwords on a sheet of paper or in an unencrypted file on your computer.

What is most valuable?

1Password helps to generate unique passwords that you do not need to remember. The passwords are stored securely, and you only have to remember your master password. This ensures that you have unique passwords for all sites, significantly enhancing security.

What needs improvement?

There is always room for improvement. It could work better with different applications. Sometimes it fails to appear automatically, and you have to call it manually. While this is not a severe issue, it is an area for improvement.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using 1Password for several years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

1Password is pretty stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I don't know about the scalability of the solution.

How are customer service and support?

I don't know about the customer service as I haven't contacted them.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I did not use a different solution before 1Password.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was very straightforward. It was not complex at all and only took several minutes.

What was our ROI?

The solution increases security and productivity more than saving costs.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing is fair.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Friends recommended 1Password to me and started using it without evaluating other options.

What other advice do I have?

Based on my experience, I would recommend 1Password to other people.

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

Love the Service Overall & Latest Improvements Have Been Great

  • September 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Able to easily store all login credentials in a single place; for the most part, 1Password intelligently autofills passwords for a variety of websites and applications and easily keeps credentials synced across multiple devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to more easily distinguish "personal" accounts from "work" accounts since I am currently using 1Password for both. Occasionally (depending on the website or application in question), it is also difficult to update login information when changing passwords, but for the preponderance of websites, it's relatively easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to move all my account logins to a single password manager and 1Password has been very helpful for that.
