Excellent Security Patch Management
What do you like best about the product?
We like Automox because it is an intuitive tool with a wide variety of Worklets. It not only helps with security patches but also monitors and optimizes endpoints.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it complicated to install third-party software; a dedicated course on this would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Global Security Requests.
Automox helps us save many hours by updating computers individually. Additionally, we can perform other tasks such as installing third-party software, blocking USB ports, and performing maintenance.

What do you dislike about the product?
The multi-factor authentication seems to disconnect at times, this could be due to connection issues, this is something that can be improved.
Integration with Mac users could be improved and enhanced.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automox helps solve software patching issues that we previously had where users were not getting the same windows updates rolled out on their devices.
Automox: Streamlining Endpoint Management
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the UI & find it to be intuitive in a way that many competitors are not; the agent seems lightweight & fairly responsive. Policies push out consistently as expected, & worklets are powerful & allow us to go beyond standard patch mangement.
What do you dislike about the product?
The remote control tool is one of my only critiques as it's rather slow & feels a bit archaic, does not have file transfer capabilities which is something I leverage often. They seem aware of this shortcoming though and should be addressing it later this year. I'd have liked to see native integrations with all the major cloud providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've had issues with other tools being very slow in deploying patches; Automox seems to be strong in this regard which is something we value greatly as it means we can patch critical vulnerabilities in a timely manner, and have trust that critical policies are actually being enforced.
Automox being full package patch management

Easiest way to patch a large fleet.
What do you like best about the product?
The policies make patch management of a large fleet of systems easy. We haven't been able to keep this under control through SCCM or Microsoft Intune or through other MDM solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I see the benefit of zones, I feel like it is un-necessary for most enterprises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automox is scanning the end user systems and providing vulnerabilities along with easy profiles to fix the vulnerabilities.
Easy to use and manage.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Automox the amount of information that is provided to us about the assets and the ease of deploying scripts to many devices at once. One of the upsides to using Automox is the UI/UX, as it is very easy and intuitive to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing about Automox is the limits of the worklet catalog. One of the downsides of using Automox would be that there is a lack of information and tutorials made by third parties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automox helps us keep our devices more secure by helping us keep track of the state of each system and patching as needed. When a system configuration is needed to be applied to many hosts, it saves us time by automating and deploying this process very quickly and easily.
Patch management tool I needed
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to segment different types of systems via groups, policies, and being able to upload installers to customize software install is very convenient. Removal of software via different set of customizable commands helps as well. All of our systems are on Automox, updated reguarly on a set schedule. Agent install are easy and straightforward, and Automox has responsive customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
For certain update item, Automox seems to be pushing software which fails, then reboots the system on its set schedule if policy is set that way which could irritate some users. Being able to selectively "mark off" some updates from within Automox console could be a nice feature request for future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automox is helping a team of IT department with patching duties across all systems and we are very happy overall. Highly recommended.
Very smooth so far. pushed the agent to our machines through our PDQ software. was simple enough.
What do you like best about the product?
i like the platform is pretty intuative to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet! Im sure it has limitations but we have not run into those yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
controling our patch management and helping us with scheduling it out and also pushing it to multiple users at once.
