AWS S3 Index Lifecycle Management & Metric Evaluation with ChaosSearch Data Lake Platform

  • By Ravi C.
  • on 03/21/2022

What do you like best about the product?
ChaosSearch platform facilitates a powerful analytics platform for indexing our Amazon S3 storage without any requirements for data movement. Since its a fully managed service, it's a secure, highly scalable and resilient log analytics platform. It effectively allows defining our discovery and query management through Elastic API or Kibana interface for Big Data analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
It offers index views that have capabilities for data controls, column type transformation and end-user visualization options. We can set ranges through its index windows feature for limiting our analytics and for case-sensitive querying. There is nothing to dislike on ChaosSearch platform features for our log analytics, metrics evaluation and end-user visualization provisions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We select our object groups, refine index list requirements and specify visualization ranges to limit views using the ChaosSearch platform. Its Lifecycle management allows us to define the longevity of indexed data stored in our Amazon S3 buckets. Its Metrics Dashboard gives explicit visualization of various factors such as Total Indexes, Total Queries, Index events, etc which offers great visibility and convenience for our cloud platform insights.
