What do you dislike about the product?
although its very good tool but some improvement is required like the things terraform have. basivally its a configration managment tool but it shout have feature like terraform (AIC) have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
do all the admin task in menutes.
whatever thing we have to bring on clint side we write in yamal file.
we apply that file into master side and code get covert into infrasture.
the code is testable before applying.
reusable and versionable.
and its agent less wich work on push base architechture.

Automation with Ansible Tower
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Ansible AWX is the UI it gives us. Once i have developed automation playbooks, it is straightforward to handover the automation to Production support Engineers
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Ansible Tower is sometime the revised GitHub code is not updated automatically in ansible tower even though we enable "UpdateRevision on launch"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ansible Tower helps me to automate manual tasks like logging into servers, Starting/Stopping of applications and performing various validations and send detailed report to Outlook and Teams Channel
Best open source for operations work
What do you like best about the product?
AWX is the Best opensource UI software to run Ansible playbooks. Easy to manage user accounts for different teams. Able to integrate with other softwares using plugins. Detailed history of users who ran jobs. ( Useful when auditing).
What do you dislike about the product?
Community version is little bit hard to set up. Especially user management configuration is little tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help us to ran Ansible playbooks on UI. This solves most of the problem when ran using commands on terminal by users especially who are new to projects. Easy to audit jobs , when and by whom it ran.
The missing tool to automate Ansible playbooks
What do you like best about the product?
Ansible AWX is very easy to configure. I really appreciate integrations with GIT to sync with our playbooks repositories. Another grat feature is the exposed API wich allow us to integrate with other tools of our CI/CD chain.
What do you dislike about the product?
API documentations is not very complete. The learning curve to use the software is really high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to execute some Ansible playbooks during our CI/CD pipelines managed by Jenkins. With the exposed API by AWX we were able to integrate them and execute the playbooks automatically and dinamically.

Using Ansible AWX for IaC and Cloud Provider Automation
What do you like best about the product?
* Ansible is Awsome, you need to create a non-AWX sandbox environment with simple files to test your routines before you push them to AWX repo
* You can install with a kubernetes operator, each repo you run is using a specialised image
* Just commit to your repo, AWX will fetch before execution
* centralized environment for everything
* debugging is done perfectly. you can see all the variables and outputs
* you can create automated tasks, which will be triggered by scheduler
* with API webhooks, you can create interactive automations
* Secrets management is perfect.
* Ansible has integrations with almost anything. I think it is the nr1 Automation tool on the market, and AWX adds the observability on top

What do you dislike about the product?
Ansible AWX installation is not that easy. I would highly recommend to use Kubernetes and Operator Deployment. Just check the image link for the quay image.
Takes some time to understand the UI, not super intuitive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We aimed to create a PaaS platform that would run on any cloud provider. AWX Tower is in the middle of our operations. We automated all the tasks and now the tasks are written by our Internal engine and run by AWX. With AWX we can trigger and debug any kind of operation that we perform on our Customer machines.
Great interface for Ansible operations
What do you like best about the product?
Graphics Interface with reporting great user connection integration
What do you dislike about the product?
A little quirckie to install, documentation not enough
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great alternative to Tower when your company is not able to invest that kind of money

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- My team wanted to use Ansible tower for automation of server environments. However we were looking forward to have a POC with it before buying the actual subscription for Ansible Tower.
So we explored Ansible AWX , which is free to download & provides similar features as Ansible Tower . We used it to monitor & track our automations on Dev/Sandbox environments first.
