Streamlined Project Management for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a powerful, user-friendly project management platform designed to help teams plan, organize, and track work with ease. It offers multiple project views (list, board, timeline, and calendar) that cater to different work styles, making it flexible for both agile and traditional workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yes
Reliable project management solution.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is straightforward enough for everyone on the team, no matter their experience with project management tools. It gives us a shared workspace where we can assign tasks, track progress, and keep everyone on the same page with deadlines and project goals. The built-in AI helps us quickly design workflows and automate repetitive tasks. Additionally, Asana integrates easily with tools we already use, like Microsoft OneDrive for Business and Office 365.
What do you dislike about the product?
The built-in analytics features don’t support SQL queries, which limits our ability to create customized reports and deeper data insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana keeps my team connected and makes communication on data analytics projects easy and efficient. It helps us stay organized by allowing members to share questions, support each other, and manage tasks in one place. The cloud-based workspace lets us access our work from anywhere, organize project data and files, and integrate seamlessly with third-party apps and cloud services. It also gives admins clear visibility into team performance and each member’s contributions.
Beware of bait and switch
What do you like best about the product?
Very comprehensive and flexible task management solution, if you're on a high enough paid plan
What do you dislike about the product?
Their bait and switch. They promise you a free plan, but force you into a free trial of a paid plan. Then, if you don't pay for the paid plan, they lock your account because you tried a premium feature, which you are not paying for. They'll ransom your data and planning until you upgrade to the plan you were forced to trial. Downgrading your data to the basic plan is reasonable. Blocking you from accessing your data because some task somewhere still has a premium field enabled is a bait-and-switch ransom tactic. The best part was that support wouldn't talk to me because my trial had expired.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just using it as a task and project management tool
Best project management software out there

What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Asana since 2022, and it quickly became an essential part of how we manage our operations. Getting started with the platform was easy, thanks to its integrations with Gmail, Teams, Zapier, and other systems, which allowed our team to hit the ground running with our projects.
Not only is the platform easy for our team to learn and use, but the extensive training and onboarding resources provided by Asana made getting everyone up to speed a breeze. When we encounter an issue, their customer support is excellent. We also have access to the Asana Ambassador group, which has inspired our team with new ways to use the system and improve our processes.
The workflows, dashboards, and automation features have saved our staff a significant amount of time. Asana has become a system we use daily, starting our day with it and relying on it continuously. I honestly can’t imagine going back to using anything else.

What do you dislike about the product?
One area for improvement is the lack of a "Super Admin" role at the team level. For institutions with multiple, separate Asana accounts not managed by a central IT department, it's unclear how to effectively oversee all of them. It would be incredibly helpful to have a Super Admin function at the team level, rather than only at the account level. This would allow for better governance and oversight within individual departments without requiring a single administrator to manage every single account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring each step of a process is consistently is being processed, pulling in the appropirate individual at every step of the process without having to manually manage and track processes.
