Easy to Use & Keeps Daily Tasks on Track
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple Asana is, yet how in depth I can make it. The home page with upcoming tasks and other widgets helps me stay organized without trying very hard. Setting it up was pretty easy, and once I have one project template made, it's pretty easy to make more.

Simple, Practical, and Scalable Solution
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple, practical and scalable. It's easy to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Gmail add-on seems pretty basic. Maybe they could add more features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Google Sheets to manage projects. Tasks/projects were deleted after completion, so there was no record of what had been done. We also didn't have a notification system.
With Asana, we receive notifications when a task is due. It's easier to create reports/metrics. There's a record of everything that's done in the company.

Useful for Task Management but Needs Better Capacity Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana keeps my team on track and ensures they have steady capacities. It really helps solve that problem for me. I also appreciate the task templates because we have a lot of repetitive work, and they make it easy to execute. The Asana trainings were really helpful during the initial setup, even though there was a bit of a learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the capacity management in the day view dropdown is always inaccurate for us. There was a bit of a learning curve, but the Asana trainings helped a lot.

Asana keeps my team on track, ensures steady capacities, and task templates make repetitive work easy to execute.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana as part of my regular professional work in a company environment. Our team uses Asana to manage ongoing projects and daily tasks. I personally create and assign tasks, set due dates, track progress using List and Timeline views, collaborate with teammates through comments and mentions, and monitor project status to ensure deadlines are met. Asana is used to coordinate work across team members and reduce reliance on email and chat for task tracking.
I access Asana daily through a company workspace and use it to plan priorities, manage dependencies, and communicate status updates with stakeholders. Due to internal company security and confidentiality policies, I’m unable to provide a logged-in screenshot that displays identifiable company information. However, my review is based on real, firsthand professional use of Asana in a workplace setting.

What do you dislike about the product?
The project map is used for milestones tracking, but the real progress isn't reflected instantly on the map. Need to manually update it on separate module and only after that the map is also updated. Take too many step to use isn't helpful for time management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solve project and task tracking in one platform, collaborate with 2 or more users at one time.
Effortless Project Management with Clear Visibility
What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it easy to turn plans into clear, trackable work. I like how quickly you can break down big initiatives into projects, tasks, and subtasks with owners and due dates, then switch views (list, board, timeline) depending on how the team likes to work. The visibility is a big win because everyone can see status, priorities, and blockers without constant meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features are locked behind higher tier plans, so scaling into more complex reporting and governance can increase costs. With very large projects, notifications can get noisy if you are not disciplined about settings and task hygiene. Also, there are many ways to structure work, so teams may need a bit of time to align on conventions (naming, tags, statuses) to stay consistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the core problem of fragmented work management across chats, spreadsheets, and email. By centralizing tasks, deadlines, ownership, and documentation, it improves execution and makes priorities transparent. This has reduced status meetings, improved handoffs between teams, and helped us deliver projects more predictably. It also supports operational workflows, including repeatable processes, approvals, and cross functional planning, so teams spend less time coordinating and more time doing the work.
