Streamlines Processes Across the Organization

  • April 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Helps us streamline processes across organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing doesn't match the value perfectly since we pay for 50 users instead of our current 40. And even though it's a project management software it doesn't have any CMS features.

Strategy map has some kind of a bug since it shows for example Q1 goals even though we only choose goals for the whole year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s great software for standardising processes and keeping people accountable.

  • April 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana very efficient and smart. It helps me arrange my boss's daily tasks and meetings, keeping everything on track. I like the ability to create more projects under a new workspace, which helps me manage various projects and even explore new ways of making money while handling my 9-5 job. The AI summary feature also keeps me organized. The initial setup was very easy and smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing I dislike about Asana, so far so good. It makes my life and work easier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me arrange my boss's daily tasks and meetings, keeping everything on track. It also allows me to manage multiple projects in one workspace and use AI summaries, enabling me to juggle additional projects alongside my full-time job.

Asana Keeps Complex Teamwork Clear and Structured.

  • April 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana offers an effective and structured approach to managing ongoing activities without additional complications. It is useful for maintaining clarity in the process of performing several tasks simultaneously, which is especially necessary when cooperation between various performers is required. The design allows one to keep focused on performing usual activities and its alright.
What do you dislike about the product?
The disadvantage is that the dependence of tasks and the order of their performance must be manually changed when the workflow becomes more complex and non-routine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the key advantages of using Asana is the high degree of transparency in executing tasks. The information about responsibility, progress, and the current state of tasks is always available for everyone, and there is no need to interpret anything.

Asana Makes Planning Ahead and Tracking Future Tasks Easy.

  • April 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana for the ability to plan work before starting it. Often, I use this tool to organize tasks ahead of time and create a schedule because otherwise, there will be many of them later on. With Asana, one can see all future tasks rather than just completed or delegated ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes changing the schedule of tasks may take extra time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana proves useful in providing information about future tasks rather than completed ones.

Asana Restores Order When Tasks Pile Up.

  • April 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the app I use when there are many tasks that start piling up and order needs to be restored. I do not take full advantage of all the tools available in this app but only a couple of basic elements like the task list and updates, which are enough for me. This is similar to arranging your to-do list instead of managing an entire system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes tasks get missed because too many updates appear in the same project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes my work easier since I can easily understand what needs to be done without going through any messages or notes.

Clean, Fun, and Collaborative Task Management with Great Integrations

  • April 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been a great tool for allowing my team to collaborate on shared tasks, with a clean and easy interface, and fun app reactions when completing tasks (flying unicorn across your screen), as well as integrations with multiple applications like Claude, Hubspot, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I haven't been able to figure out it saving a view when there are filters on my tasks, particularly when our team has a shared project and we each have our own task list. It defaults to the owners tasks or their view every time I log in. This could be operator error or oversight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating automatic tasks for customer follow-up while integrating with our other applications to keep everything streamlined and organized.

Great Task Dependency Visibility with Asana’s Hourglass Indicator

  • April 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has great visibility of task dependency availability with the hourglass symbol in play when a blocking task is not completed. Our team really valued this feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
From what I understand, our organisation didn’t move forward with Asana mainly because it didn’t provide the hierarchy and organisation-wide visibility we needed, and I really wish it had those capabilities. On a personal level, I also found the notifications chaotic and not particularly helpful as a tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the person creating the projects, I really appreciated how easy it was to access and navigate back to the parent task. The projects I was building were based on a parent task as the main asset, with the subtasks covering all the work related to creating that asset. Because of that setup, being able to quickly find and open the parent task was genuinely helpful from a UI perspective.

Real-Time Project Tracking with Flexible Views in Asana.

  • April 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes your work process more transparent without overthinking it. You can divide your projects into specific tasks, delegate them to certain people, and monitor everything in real-time. Various views (lists, boards, timelines) let teams work differently but still stay synchronized.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no structure enforcement, meaning that the whole system relies on how teams organize themselves. If tasks are not updated properly, visibility starts fading fast. Moreover, more profound analytics and workload management cannot be found at the basic plan level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Status reports and meetings are unnecessary since there is no need to ask anything anymore; you will just know what is going on.

Clear Ownership, Flexible Views, and Smooth Cross-Team Collaboration

  • April 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Clear task ownership: every task can have one owner, so responsibility is obvious.
Good visibility: projects, sections, timelines, and boards make work easy to track.
Strong collaboration: comments, attachments, mentions, and status updates stay in one place.
Flexible views: list, board, timeline, and calendar support different working styles.
Subtasks and dependencies: useful for breaking work down and showing what blocks what.
Good for cross-team coordination: marketing, ops, product, and IT can work in the same system.
Automation: recurring tasks, rules, and notifications reduce manual follow-up.
Portfolio and reporting features: helpful for managers tracking multiple projects.
Integrations: works with Slack, Teams, Google Drive, Outlook, and many other tools.
Clean interface: easier adoption compared with heavier project management tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can become messy fast if teams do not follow standards.
Reporting is decent, but not always deep enough for advanced analytics.
Complex projects can feel harder to model than in Jira or MS Project.
Dependency and timeline features are useful, but not always enough for heavy project management.
Too many notifications can create noise.
Subtasks and task relationships can become confusing in large projects.
Limited native support for very technical workflows like code/release management.
Automation is useful, but more advanced logic may need paid plans or external tools.
Permissions and governance can feel limited in some scenarios.
Users may treat it like a chat tool and avoid keeping fields structured.
Search is helpful, but finding the exact thing is not always perfect in large workspaces.
Pricing can become significant as the team grows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, accountability, continuity, history
