efficient and easy to use project management system
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has a clean interface and is easy to use allowing our team to stay on the same page of where our projects are at, what needs to be done, and the prioritization of the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any dislikes. Initially I disliked the constant email notifications but was able to adjust the settings and resolve the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping my CEO and me to stay on the same page of what projects we're working on, what tasks need to get done, status updates for where the projects are at. It allows us to communicate with each other and for him to get updates without interrupting the day.
Better experience as an end user than a creator.
What do you like best about the product?
Being assigned tasks is quite useful and helps me get things done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creatin tasks and basic functionality/usage, the layout is too subtle and the prompts are non existent. I do not respond well to the child like emojis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in an all remote company and it does help to coordinate projects.

Like Asana but don't quite know all the features yet
What do you like best about the product?
I like best about seeing what tasks have been assigned to me, and how I can come alongside and support those teams with requests. Given the nature of my job as a production director, we support all the ministries in my church with AV and production services. Asana is great for not forgetting the things you absolutely need to provide and provide with quality. On the flipside, being able to receive attachments such as photos from the communications department is awesome instead of emailing them, asking for a graphic when needed, etc. It's all right there and downloadable onto any device that is necessary to download to. So, it's got great features for just those two things alone!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the UI. Seems clunky and all over the place. Hard to find downloads or at least it wasn't as intuitive to find downloads attached to tasks, etc. I recommend changing that!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the time it takes to contact an employee to provide a graphic for me, whereas emailing them and waiting for a response can take hours if not days. Once they finish their task such as designing a graphic, that is uploaded pretty seamlessly and accessible by nearly anyone on the team.
Extremely Helpful Tool for Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
While Asana isn't technically a dedicated social media management platform like Hootsuite or Buffer, it has proven to be an invaluable asset for organizing and executing social media strategies. As a comprehensive project management tool, Asana excels at helping teams coordinate the complex workflow behind effective social media campaigns.
The platform's strength lies in its ability to transform chaotic social media planning into streamlined, organized processes. You can create detailed content calendars, assign posts to team members, set publication deadlines, and track campaign progress all in one place. The visual project views - particularly the timeline and calendar layouts - make it easy to see your entire social media schedule at a glance and identify potential conflicts or gaps in your content strategy.
What makes Asana particularly valuable for social media teams is its collaborative features. Multiple team members can contribute ideas, review content, provide feedback, and approve posts without the confusion of endless email chains. The comment system keeps all discussions centralized and searchable, while automated notifications ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
The custom fields feature allows you to track important metrics like engagement targets, hashtag strategies, and platform-specific requirements. Integration capabilities with tools like Slack, Google Drive, and various social media schedulers help create a comprehensive workflow that connects all aspects of your social media operation.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more templates to draw from for specific types of projects, like overall team tasks, website re-design, or templates for different lengths of projects (some are evergreen, as in they are constantly being updated, while others have a start and end and are projects in their innate form)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Organization We Didn't Know We Needed
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is very versatile! We love that we are able to use the project settings to create real time settings that multiple people can track and work in at the same time. We also love that we are able to use Asana as an overall task tracker for individuals and groups, as well as having the ability to track employee performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
We struggle with the lack of ability to create a field definition that can be used on multiple custom fields. For our business purposes functionality could be improved by being able to search on specific things, such as comments and descriptions, as opposed to an overall general search. We would like to see a knowledge suppository that enables you to attach articles to tasks, similar to Azure's functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We lacked a real time environment to be able to track patient and office tasks. We can now do this with Asana. We are also able to track billing in the same real time set up. Starting up a medical clinic has proven to be a massive task. Before we had Asana we were losing a lot of important tasks that were having to be skimmed from meeting transcripts. Now we are able to collaborate and immediately create tasks so nothing gets lost in the mix. We are able to assign tasks and assign collaborators which has greatly helped all of us know who is working on each task and helps delegate action items and track progress to completion!
