I have been using Asana from close to 10 years and love how simple and effective it is!
What do you like best about the product?
I can easily invite team members, add tasks, assign them to tasks, and add deadlines. It is also flexible enough so that we can use the way that works best for us. I use it every day at work.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints, I am an early adopter. Asana has been my project management tool for many years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep all the tasks in one place and on track.
long time asana user
What do you like best about the product?
I manage three companies using Asana, and we use it daily for projects, managing people and clients, sales (using the hanging tiles as people move through our sales process), international hubs access the projects and we communicate through Asana -- keeping the conversation and associated files within the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is a learning curve and I have had to train team members, but there are help videos available, as well as online help. the big thing to remember is that it is web based, so no right clicking -- always go to the three dots to find the actions you want!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keeping communication within the project and all members notified. this is huge -- we laugh about the days we are searching for an email where someone attached a doc or report. no more -- all in ASANA
Great project management software!
What do you like best about the product?
Creating all the different projects and then planning out the tasks to make the project successful. Assigning tasks to different team members and being able to see the project progression.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't come across any downsides yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having notes in separate locations. Tasks falling off the radar. Due dates are being kept.
Great for organizing tasks

Collaboration
Asanas ease of use is phenomenal
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is so easy and intuative to use which makes it a great choice for a day to day task tool, great tool for begginers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't have enough features if you want your whole operation in 1 place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easier to follow the daily tasks and their progress.
Great for organizing all project details & progress at one place
What do you like best about the product?
- Rich support for adding media helps understanding tasks/bugs assigned by others and provides better context (image/video speaks thousand words and acts as a proof as well)
- Individual subtasks allow granular control of tasks completion progress
- Individual subtasks allow granular control of tasks completion progress
What do you dislike about the product?
Many user friendly metrics are missing that can be shown on the basis of data collected, for eg:
1. how each individual is performing on the basis of deadline and actual day of completion of task (this needs extra care as we generally don't check mark a task until next standup but it is already completed a fews day ago)
2. how many tasks a user if juggling at the same time

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- saves time in organising and updating task progress
- very easy plug n play software rather than building our own solution

Flexible site to manage projects with ease
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of adding tasks directly on the page one after the other, without leaving the page. Helps when entering a number of tasks at a time instead of being taken to a separate page when adding each task. I also like being able to drag and drop tasks for ease of sorting within groups and across groups. One of the most flexible project management sites that I have used (and I have used a TON of them in my role).
What do you dislike about the product?
When managing multiple projects across different teams that contain different clients across teams, I don’t like that the Assignee dropdown does not filter to just the team members for that specific project - instead shows ALL team members across ALL projects. When dealing with multiple external clients in an agency work situation, this is just a recipe for mistakes of assigning or tagging the wrong team member.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing communication, providing a transparent project plan and status for a cross-teams group, keeping projects organized across multiple projects being managed knowing exactly which tasks are assigned to which people and the status of those tasks, and date of last communication in each task
Really like using Asana!
What do you like best about the product?
Allows me to stay organized with all the tasks and projects I'm working on - as well as collaborating with other people on my team.
I use it every day in order to keep my days organized and know what I'm going to be working on at any given time.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I can think of at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of juggling many different tasks, and understanding where tasks may be blocked.
This benefits me because it gives me a sense of focus on what needs to be done today, and what I can be working on in order to move ahead with projects.
