Solid platform; would love a bit more flexibility in reporting
What do you like best about the product?
We love Asana, it creates a clear view of the path forward on our team. Love that is can connect to goals and integrates with our other tools like Slack, Zoom, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
We utilize Projects as Team views, so reporting against our true projects (which are actually task sections) can be difficult. But, overall a solid experience!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Review process, projects feeding our goals, and overall project management and workflow for a global/async team.
Very Helpful Task Management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can schedule recurring tasks and manage them by day. It helps keep me organized and complete everything I need to do on time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I don't have any complaints about Asana!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me stay on top of my day to day and week to week tasks, especially the recurring ones.
Efficient and Organized To-Do list
What do you like best about the product?
I am someone who is constantly changing and/or losing my to-do list and how I keep track of it. This has helped me really keep everything together with reminders so I don't ignore my checklist.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really the only downside is figuring out my favorite way to organize the tasks without duplicating them, but that just will take time and experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making it simpler to remember to execute specific tasks.

Asana is so helpful keeping our team on track. It's also not hard to learn and the interface is user-friendly.

It's capabilities are not as robust as some other project management systems.

Helping the team stay on top of multiple deadlines. Helping communication flowing among internal team members.
Amazing for Medium-sized Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps me manage and demonstrate my workload while improving team collaboration via an easy-to-use solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain functionality like selecting and changing the date for multiple tasks is not super intuitive for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps remove collaboration barriers and assuages the disorganization & lack of prioritization that comes with a growing company.
Getting Stuff Done (and Cheered On by Unicorns)
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana daily at work for task management and overall, it's been a really effective tool-especially for somone like me who thrives on structure. One of my favorite featurs is the ability to switch between different views. I personally love the list view, which makes it easy to break down tasks in a clean, linear way.
Another small but impactful detail is the fun animal animations that occasionally appear when you check off a task. As someone with ADHS, I really appreciate that little hit of dopamine-it adds a bit of joy and motivation to the workday.

What do you dislike about the product?
We're using the paid version, which unlocks a lot of flexibility and team features. While it's great for internal task and project management, I do wish it were a bit more intuitive for client management. I'm still figuring out the best way to organize client-related workflows in Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us in our team setting by providing clarity on tasks, all our communications are in one place, helps us with progress tracking, and prioritizing. These benefits provide a clear structure, better focus, provides better accountability, a motivation boost, and better collaboration.

I didn't need to watch any videos or tutorials to figure it out - I could just start using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downsides are being confronted with ever-approaching deadlines and work to be done.

I wish there was a pop up that teaches you how to use all features, because asana has a lot of functionality and you can only find out after using it a lot

It is user friendly and there is a lot of online support for it. I like that you can set rules and track tasks by different projects. I like that it sends reminders when a task is coming up due.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that only a fixed number of rules can be created per account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping me on track with my tasks and giving me daily reminders. It also helps keep me updated on the status of coworker's tasks that I collaborate on.
