Helpful Organizing Tool with Caviat

  • April 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana make it easy to organize your tasks, collaborate with others, and monitor workflow statuses. We use it daily to keep track of all tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some features that seem to have some bugs, such as task dependency needing to be readded every time a recurring task is generated. Some of the rules also don't seem to function as they should. You do have to put in quite a bit of time to get Asana up and working the way you need it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It houses tasks, processes, and information for all projects

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Asana is its ability to streamline collaboration across teams. The platform’s intuitive interface and customizable workflows make it easy to manage projects efficiently, stay aligned on priorities, and ensure accountability throughout the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana is a powerful project management tool, I’ve found that its interface can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for new users. Additionally, the lack of advanced reporting features in the basic plan can be limiting for teams that need deeper data insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana addresses key challenges in project and task management by providing a centralized platform for collaboration, transparency, and accountability. It helps streamline workflows, reduces the need for excessive email communication, and ensures everyone is aligned on priorities and deadlines. This has significantly improved our team's efficiency, allowing us to manage projects more effectively and deliver results with greater consistency.

Being able to keep track of tasks by assigning them to specific people with a specific due date. This helps ensure things get done on time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm having some trouble creating public tasks from the Asana app. This is probably user error on my part, but overall, creating public tasks from the web version of Asana is easy!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small team juggling multiple priorities and working with over 50 homeowners, we use Asana to keep track of tasks so they aren't forgotten or get overlooked by more pressing issues. This keeps the big and the small things top of mind.

The Perfect Task Master

  • April 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Three months ago, our team transitioned from paper checklists and endless email threads to Asana, and the impact has been transformative. Initially, there was some resistance, but now we can’t imagine reverting to our old ways. The training webinars were a standout, simplifying company-wide adoption and enabling daily use.

Asana’s transparency is a game-changer—everyone can see each team member’s progress on a project. I particularly appreciate the task dependency feature, where my tasks activate only after preceding ones are completed, eliminating the need for constant email updates to track project status. Custom templates have removed ambiguity around task completion, and the notes feature ensures delays are clearly documented and understood.

The platform’s intuitive design means we’ve rarely needed customer support, though I’m confident they’d be responsive if we did. Asana has undeniably boosted our team’s productivity, streamlining workflows and enhancing clarity. Thank you, Asana!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not really found anything that I dislike about Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has eliminated the inefficiencies of paper checklists and back-and-forth email communication by providing a transparent platform where project progress is clear to all team members. It has resolved confusion around task completion through custom templates and notes, ensuring clarity on statuses and reasons for delays. Additionally, the task dependency feature has streamlined workflows by triggering tasks only when prerequisites are met, saving time and reducing manual follow-ups.
