Seamless organization
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you are able to link directly to documents in Google Drive since all of our previous project management was done using Google Sheets. I also love that everything is in one place rather than hundreds of different spreadsheets. Finally, it is awesome that tasks can live in more than one project and projects can live in more than one portfolio. Oh, and I also like the live webinars and the asynchronous training. I use Asana every day to organize not only my work tasks, but my life tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure I dislike anything. I just need to learn more about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a lot of projects that are multi-faceted that different departments and owners contribute to, that all lead up to a larger project. The portfolio feature on Asana is very useful for us.
Clean interface and easy to understand and navigate
What do you like best about the product?
It feels intuitive and the short cut support is very good and mostly makes sense. Easy to teach and learn as such, and generally simple when trying to structure projects and tasks in a way that makes sense.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can feel hard to adapt the organization of project lists and task lists in a way that would be easier to visualize and conceptualize, like if scope creep occurs lists can get long and overwhelming and reorganizing can be tedious or a bit time-consuming.
Can take time to get used to and create a habit of filling in fields (which can be customizable) but requires users to definitely put in full effort and not slack on filling in parts of task/project items

As an IT Support tech:
- Keeps track of all tasks when onboarding users and deploying computers to users, documentation
- Simplifies asks from manager and project managers so that they're broken into tasks
- Tracks and notifies of deadlines or completion of specific items by others
- One-stop shop for all projects, somewhat easy to see overall view of what the team is trying to achieve in a sprint

Easy and Effective

The platform is very easy to use, responsive kanban board, customisable type of task, email reminders for every update in the task you ever been assigned.

An Accessible, Flexible and Powerful Workload Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
We recently consolidated several Asana instances into one enterprise-level account. This has made things much easier to manage from a user and licensing perspective and also opened up some collaboration opportunities across my teams (i.e. - one of our teams has been using third party automation software to automate repetitive tasks across their systems. We're now learning about this for possible expansion.)
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a dedicated page to provide status updates for projects. By default, it provides two fields to populate but we also add two of our own. These fields have to be manually added before the first project update for each project but then appear for future updates. I'd really like to be able to save a Project Status Update template that could automatically be used for every project.
The account consolidation process was painful. Several teams had Admin spaces with separated team members that got merged into the new instance. Since the old separate Admin portals were shut down, we had no way to fully remove them from the old teams without going through support.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team is able to accomplish a disproportionately high amount of project activity relative to our size. However, we needed a way to better organize, manage and gain visibility into our various projects. Asana quickly and effectively replaced our previous solution and also increased the engagement of our users.

Review of Asana for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Asana as our primary project management tool, and it has truly transformed the way we organize and track our work. Its clean, intuitive interface makes it easy for team members at all levels to stay aligned on tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities.
One of the biggest strengths of Asana is its flexibility. Whether we’re managing complex architectural projects or handling day-to-day administrative tasks, Asana allows us to create custom workflows that suit each project's specific needs. The ability to view tasks in different formats—like lists, boards, calendars, or timelines—is especially useful for visualizing progress and adjusting priorities.
Collaboration has also improved significantly. Team members can comment directly on tasks, attach files, and update statuses in real time, which keeps communication streamlined and centralized. Notifications and reminders ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.
We also appreciate the individual calendars and workload views, which help us balance responsibilities across the team and keep everyone accountable without micromanaging.
Overall, Asana has become an indispensable tool in our workflow. It’s reliable, user-friendly, and continually improving with new features that help us stay productive and focused.

What do you dislike about the product?
everything is fine. I really dont have any bad thinks to say about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of visibility into project progress: Before Asana, it was difficult to get a clear, real-time view of where projects stood. Now, we can easily track task status, deadlines, and responsibilities across multiple teams and projects in one place.
Scattered communication: Asana centralizes all project-related communication. Instead of digging through emails or messages, we have task-specific conversations, attachments, and updates all organized within each project.
Missed deadlines and unclear priorities: With Asana’s timelines, due dates, and priority settings, our team stays on track. It sends timely reminders and highlights overdue or upcoming tasks, which helps us stay proactive rather than reactive.
Lack of accountability: Assigning tasks to individuals with clear deadlines has greatly improved accountability. Everyone knows exactly what they’re responsible for, and nothing gets overlooked.
Difficulty managing complex workflows: Asana’s customizable structure—using lists, boards, or calendars—makes it easier to manage everything from simple to complex projects. We can also automate repetitive tasks, saving us time and reducing human error.

Excellent tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is how easy it makes it to stay organized and keep everyone on the same page. The interface is clean and intuitive, so even if you're new to it, it doesn’t take long to get comfortable. I love being able to switch between list, board, and calendar views depending on what I’m working on, and the ability to set up automations for repetitive tasks is a real time-saver. It also makes team collaboration seamless—you can leave comments, assign tasks, set deadlines, and everything stays in one place. Plus, it integrates with all the other tools we use, which just makes life easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such that I dislike about Asana
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us stay aligned and organized across teams by connecting our OKRs, marketing calendar, product roadmap, and daily tasks in one place.
