Life is so much better with Asana

  • May 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is how it makes every project feel clear and simple from the start. The interface is clean and intuitive, so creating tasks or checking status is effortless. I especially appreciate the different views (List, Board, and Timeline) because I can pick the perspective that works best for what I’m tracking. Its integrations with Slack and Google Drive keep everything in one place without extra steps. It really just lets me focus on doing the work and getting things done.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Asana is that some of the really helpful features are locked behind higher pricing tiers. Things like advanced reporting or better admin controls would make a big difference, but they aren’t available unless you upgrade. Also, managing approvals or dependencies across multiple projects can feel a little clunky. It’s not a dealbreaker, but there’s room for it to be more flexible in how cross-functional work is handled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the chaos of scattered work. Instead of juggling Slack messages, emails, and random notes, everything lives in one place where I can actually track progress. It keeps my team aligned on who’s doing what by when, which cuts down on follow-ups and confusion. It also makes it easier to spot roadblocks early and adjust. For me, that means less time chasing updates and more time focusing on the work that matters.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the workflow automations available in Asana. Once I figured out how to create rules and branch them out, my work became more manageable. I also really like how easy it is to integrate Asana with other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a learning curve to Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to write my to do list down over and over and over, especially when there are tasks that are redirected to other people.

Perfect Asana

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Asana because it makes it so much easier to stay organized and manage my work efficiently. Its clean interface and flexible structure help me keep track of tasks, deadlines, and team responsibilities without getting overwhelmed. I also love how easy it is to collaborate—whether it's assigning tasks, leaving comments, or checking progress, everything flows smoothly. Plus, the integrations and automation features save me a lot of time in my daily workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I really like Asana overall, there are a few things that I’m not so happy with. The notifications can be a bit overwhelming or messy at times, making it easy to miss what’s actually important. Also, some of the more advanced features are only available in the paid plans, which can feel a bit limiting when I want to do more. It works great for basic needs, but I do run into some restrictions when trying to go beyond that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me solve a lot of common problems in project and work management—especially when it comes to staying organized, keeping track of deadlines, and making sure everyone on the team knows what they’re responsible for. Before using Asana, things would often get lost in emails or forgotten in meetings. Now, I have a clear view of what needs to be done, by whom, and by when. It’s made project planning smoother, helped us work more efficiently, and reduced the stress of last-minute surprises.

Why Asana Works for Me

  • May 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Our team juggles multiple projects and deadlines. Asana has become more than just a task tracker - it’s our daily compass. It helps us visualize what needs to be done, who's accountable, and how everything connects. We no longer have to chase updates through emails or wonder about deadlines; it's all laid out clearly.

I especially appreciate how easy it is to shift between views - Timeline when I’m planning, Board when I’m monitoring progress, and Calendar when I need to see the big picture. Assigning tasks, adding notes, and even automating routine steps feels natural.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, except on the learning aspect. But once you know how to navigate it already, all you can think about is the productive help it gives to the users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped us solve some of the biggest challenges we faced in managing multiple projects and teams - scattered communication, unclear accountability, and lack of visibility. Before using it, updates came from everywhere - emails, chats, verbal check-ins - and it was easy to lose track of priorities or miss deadlines. Now, everything’s in one place: tasks are clearly assigned, timelines are visible, and discussions are documented within each item. This clarity has improved how we delegate and collaborate, especially when juggling compliance tasks, development milestones, or cooperative initiatives. We no longer spend hours chasing updates or compiling manual reports because Asana shows real-time progress. It brings structure without being rigid and supports both daily routines and long-term planning. The biggest benefit for the team? Peace of mind - knowing that we’re aligned, informed, and moving forward with purpose.

Asana is as complex or as simple as you need it to be!

  • May 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana can get to the micro level for projects, tasks, and subtasks. The different views like list or board make it highly customizable and easy to use for a variety of styles!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could sort by ascending or descending project progress percentage. Sometimes the portfolios confuse me as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We really needed a kanban board to see where all of our projects were at as we got bigger. Asana did more than just that and it helps us assign a leader for the projects.
