Great for keeping teams on track
What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of options to organize information.
What do you dislike about the product?
can get "messy" easily if the team doesn't have clear guidelines for use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me have a big picture view of what my staff is working on, as well as keep projects on track.
Team adoption is very quick
What do you like best about the product?
The learning curve for team members (task assignees) is really shallow. They all catch on really quickly, and are not afraid to jump into updates.
The interface is simple to use and integrates will other software our team uses.

What do you dislike about the product?
As a PM, there are some things I wish it could do - like baselines, better resource management, and budget management.
Some of the logic for dependencies is still a mystery to me, and doesn't seem to be consistent.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team is managing projects across multiple business units and clients. The Portfolio features make things simpler to group these together. Before Asana, everything was disjointed and difficult to maintain.
Great organization tool with great customizability

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more flexibility in organizing the different views and wish there was better customer support.

Asana is a great Client Management Tool for my Business!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is extremely useful for our marketing agency to manage clients on a daily basis for social media review. It has been a staple in our business for several years and has proven to be easy to use and navigate for clients - and for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of things you can do inside of Asana, and I feel overwhelmed with trying to implement or understand . The customer service is extremely awful as I have reached out multiple times and their chat function NEVER works. I pay for 3 seats a month to have virtually no support. I also don't like that they email my clients to pay for their platform when they join mine - which is paid for. I wish there was an immediate option to opt out of advertising emails when they register.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a one-stop area that houses all of my client boards for their social media content ideas and posts. It allows them to see everything all at once and in one overarching viewpoint. The ease of use for them is beneficial.
Very good project and task managment software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy task management - easy task creation, easy task assignment, due date, and adding details about task. Must say very easy for a common man to manage
What do you dislike about the product?
Dont have the option to add hours and reporting can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project Management. As a manager I would like to see how many tasks are open, when they will be finished, who is working and if they have any questions or concerns. All things at one place
Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Clear overview, intuitive UX, good colour coding
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a while to learn and setup before effective use can be applied
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project Management with external parties
Where our team aligns and gets things done
What do you like best about the product?
The clean, intuitive layout makes it easy for teammates who aren't tech-savvy to create tasks, set deadlines, and assign work. Plus, I love how Asana gives everyone a bird's eye view of what’s in progress, what’s done, and what’s falling behind, which is great for keeping the team aligned. Whether using boards, lists, or calendars, Asana adapts to how I work and makes it easy to switch views depending on the project type.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing to be aware of is that Asana offers so many features that it can take a little time to explore and get the most out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us streamline task management and team coordination, which means fewer missed deadlines and better visibility across all our projects.
Major Hack for Team Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I like the User Interface Experience and the ability to create boards and projects for team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to create portfolios for the tier I have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to communicate with my team.
Perfect for Organizing tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I think Asana's ease of use is one of its best features. It's intuitive, so even new users can quickly pick it up and start managing tasks and projects without much friction. The layout is clean, and the interface makes it easy to see project timelines, tasks, and team communication in one place.
The ease of integration is another huge plus. It integrates well with tools like Slack, Google Drive, and many others, which helps streamline workflows and avoid jumping between different platforms.
And I can't leave out the frequency of use—it's the kind of tool that you end up using daily because of how central it becomes in managing team projects and staying organized. Whether it's for tracking deadlines or collaborating with teammates, it's just so reliable!

What do you dislike about the product?
Although Asana provides a lot of flexibility in terms of projects and task views (list, board, timeline, etc.), when it comes to fully customizing workflows, there are some restrictions. For instance, while custom fields are available, they can be a bit cumbersome to manage across different projects, especially when you’re dealing with a large number of them. Advanced custom workflows, like automating specific actions between different types of tasks or creating highly specialized project templates, can be more challenging without using third-party tools or complex integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me create clear, structured task flows for handling accounting work requests and approvals. I can easily set up task dependencies, like “Approve expense report” → “Process payment,” and track each step in the process. This ensures that nothing falls through the cracks and that everyone on my team knows their responsibilities. I can also use custom fields to capture important details like invoice numbers or account codes, making sure the information I need is always at my fingertips. This results in smoother workflows and helps me avoid delays or missed tasks.
Huge potential
What do you like best about the product?
I work in a multi-library system and am a new Asana user, so I have not mastered the platform by any means. However, the more I use it the more things I think about that could be put in Asana to help us track our goals and map them to our strategic plan rather than just seeing how we are doing at our annual retreat.
The training videos are very helpful, making it easier to use the features. It was easy to more my tasks from Google tasks into Asana. I keep it running all day and it helps keep my on track. I love the ability to put in estimated time for tasks, so I can pick a quick task if I am between meetings.
Because of the huge potential for being able to keep track of the big picture and to see who is working on what, I really recommend Asana.

What do you dislike about the product?
Training videos (at least so far) are geared to production, not a non-profit like a library. There is a pretty steep learning curve. You can get the basics quickly, but learning to really use all the features to maximum advantage is a bit difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps our Marketing team see what project is being worked on and who is working on it. It is a HUGE help to our Facilities team, since there are different requirements depending on the size of the job. Through Asana they were able to build templates with the requirements for each type of job (paperwork, approvals, etc.) so no step will get forgotten on the jobs moving forward. I am working to build a portfolio for our strategic plan so we can see how we are doing for the year and the run of the plan.
