Learning to utilize Asana for workplace organization in CSM role with IQVIA
What do you like best about the product?
I like the clean aesthetic and user friendly interface, as well as AI's ability to assist in finding creative ways to be more efficient in organization
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints, but I do with for rosters on Asana boards I had an easier way to copy/paste and export to CSV. I also like the option to copy all fields and then drag and drop into Outlook if I have a list of email addresses for a column.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is solving a problem of tasks and collaborators having to juggle multiple apps to cover our processes. Asana does great at having all of this live in one central place where notifications are sent out by email.

What do you like best about the product?
After 19 years in business, we recognized the need for a more structured approach to accountability as our company continues to grow. That’s why we implemented Asana—to ensure clarity, streamline workflows, and keep every facet of our business on track. I now have the ability to track and manage tasks like never before.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything I don't like about the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With an expanding team and increasing complexity in operations, Asana provides us with a centralized system for task management, project tracking, and internal communication. It allows us to assign responsibilities, set clear deadlines, and monitor progress in real time. By creating structured workflows, we can ensure that every department stays aligned and tasks are being completed in a timely manner.

Ability to add tasks to different projects
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to easily add group subtasks to a project
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Group work and the ability for everyone to have a unique board while populating shared tasks on multiple boards.
Long time Project Manager using for First Time
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is simple to use once you learn the basics and can practice for a few weeks on the platform. It logs all of my project tasks in one central location for all of my project team members, which makes communication a lot more streamlined.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still trying to figure out how to manage my notifications. Since I don't want to miss any action in Asana, I have my Outlook notifications turned on. The number of notifications after 1 day can get very overwhelming so I need to decide if I should turn off my Outlook notifications and use the Inbox function in Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are many moving parts and pieces to my project. This tools helps get tasks organized and allows me to get a snapshot of upcoming tasks and deadlines
Interesting software for tracking projects and deliverables
What do you like best about the product?
The software is easy to use and quickly allows the publication of project status updates. The generation of reports by AI, with clear instructions, is interesting and saves time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana lacked the ability to automatically report values from a project (such as the budget, for example) onto the project portfolio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows for quick tracking of a project's deliverables. It also allows for the quick editing of a monthly report. The portfolio allows for the visualization of the status of numerous projects.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that we can manage different projects, assign tasks to different team members, choose priorities and deadlines and attach files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would probably like to have a personal calendar with timing of tasks so it will be easier to manage your workload throughout the day
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a place where I can keep all projects and tasks and manage them with my team.
Overall provides great functionality, but I wish there were some additional features.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and navigate. Reporting is easy to share out with stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were features to move documents from subtasks into different subtasks. Also, it would be nice to be able to double expose subtasks into other projects. Example, if there is a photoshoot that is a dependency for multiple projects/tickets, would be nice to create one task throughout multiple projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility into work + easy communication between creative & marketing team. This is beneficial to me as a project manager.
Not user friendly for office setting

I like the visual aspects of Asana. Some of the language used are not as intuitive

One of the downsides of Asana is that I don't think it's as great for collaborative use as apposed to individual

Asana Takes the Guess Work out of Work
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana provides me with a platform to personalize my work space and work flow. In my daily work, things come up and change quickly, but with Asana, I can track all of those changes and add in new tasks and projects at the drop of a hat. It was an easy system to set up and I find myself using it every day, helping me stay on top of my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can take a little bit of time to integrate with a team. I am the only one on my team currently using it, and trying to get others on the same page has proven to not be a priority because of the time needed to train.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping me to better organize and prioritize my work. I can easily see what is on my plate over a given period of time and adjust that timeline as needed without interrupting a prioritized schedule to get projects complete.
