Best tool for manage projects.
What do you like best about the product?
We utilize Asana with one of our contractors to collaborate on projects with large teams and tight deadlines. It is excellent project management software for teams working on projects with a large number of changing parts, deliverables or pieces. I really enjoy how the timeline, tasks, and files are all in one locatian.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can make it easier to link hierarchical tasks, projects and depenedencies. It can add more integrations for products such as microsoft tools. This would be useful for firms who use the microsoft stack exclusively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is wonderful for managing your teams assignments, but it is also quite useful for tracking your individual projects and activities. It keeps everyone on the same page, which is sometimes difficult in a fully remote workplace. We also use Asana to organize feature and product launches, create a content calender, and keep track of ideas.

What do you like best about the product?
As someone who needs things to look tidy and be organized just-so, I love the flexibility of Asana.
You can set everything up in the way that works for you and your team. I love being able to see tasks as Kanban, Lists, Timelines... And each user can individually create a personalized task list to help them stay on top of their tasks.
I highly recommend Asana for anyone looking for a powerful yet user-freindly tool!

What do you dislike about the product?
Feature-wise, there is nothing I dislike about Asana. The one downside I would say is the pricing plans for Asana can get a little hefty as your team grows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me know exactly what I will be working on today, tomorrow, next week, etc. And as a project manager, I can also easily see the progress of tasks to make sure we are on track with our timelines.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used many similar tools over the years, but I discovered Asana a few months ago and it's been my favourite ever since. I even use it for personal projects, sometimes repository and occasionally just as a reminder or shopping list. I love the different views it offers, the complex nesting (portfolios, projects, milestones, tasks, subtasks), the many custom fields and customizations it offers and of course integrations (email, calendar, cloud storage). Even the free tier already has many useful features. There's pretty much no excuse not to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be somewhat intimidating for people who haven't used similar tools or methods (such as kanban or gannt). I have to start very small whenever introducing it to a friend or colleague.
From my perspective, the only thing that's missing to be perfect is being able to use it as a calendar, for instance, allowing the start and end time to be imported from a CSV or at least stacking same day tasks in calendar view chronologically.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me keep track of work, blockers (by setting up dependencies). It helps me save time by setting up rules and by offering information (status, blockers, progress, who is doing what) that is shared at-a-glance within the team, so that we don't have to constantly check what everyone is doing, what is due or when, etc.

Ease of Use - The UI is user friendly especially to people who are new to Project Management.
What do you dislike about the product?
does not have the capability to assign an entire team to one task.

Scheduling task, custom fields, proper sectioning in project.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a brilliant tool in so many ways!!!!! I am neurodivergent and get easily overwhelmed with too much going on. Asana helps me to be in control of my tasks; planning and deliverables. Though it may have initially been created with a project management/collaborative objective, it is soooo good tool regarding your own time management/agenda/planner helper! It is like project managing yourself too!

What do you like best about the product?
Templates make my life easier. I have bulk tasks that repeat monthly, that I like to keep grouped. For example, month end check list for closing books. I have serveral tasks of different makeup.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a tad on the pricey side for business accounts.

I am overwhemled at work, and the ease of use to create a task is essential in keeping my head on straight.
