Streamlined Project Management with Great Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Asana helps us keep all of our projects organized and on time. I also really appreciate the way it allows us to tag projects in custom ways. Another thing I like about Asana is the integrations it supports with other software in our tech stack. It connects with OneDrive for file uploads, integrates with our Product Management software, and connects to Slack. These integrations are really valuable and make Asana a versatile tool for our projects. The initial setup was also pretty easy, which made getting started a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the seat limitations where it makes us buy bundles of 5 seats to upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Seamless Team Collaboration and High-Level Overview with Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the compatibility to work between teams with Asana. The dashboards are also great, allowing me to sum up individual projects into overall dashboards that provide a high-level view between projects. These features make it a lot easier to track overall goals and not get stuck in the minor details.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think just some of the fields can be weird sometimes. Like, I want to be able to see when the last time a status was changed, and in order to do that, I have to basically make my users change the last status updated date so that a formula goes in and says when the last updated date was. Rather than it just saying or it being an option for that. It just turns into a bit more of a manual process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the lack of communication between teams, improves visibility between leadership and teams, and makes tracking overall goals easier.

I find Asana aesthetically easy to use, and I like that it's easy to add and complete tasks, take notes, and create agendas. It's helped us streamline our management so everything is in one system. Uploading our old Trello boards into Asana projects was straightforward, which made the initial setup pretty easy for us.

Their customer support could be better. They can take a while to respond and don't always know the best way to do something.

Asana streamlines our management by consolidating everything into one system.
Effortless Task Management with Flexible Templates
What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana's ease of use, aesthetic design, and flexibility in defining my own templates based on my use case. I can easily list tasks and prioritize them, whether they come through email, meetings, or chats. The initial setup was very easy for me and my team. I also like how I can add comments, attach files, and links within Asana, which influenced our decision to switch from Appsheet. These features make task and project management more manageable and collaborative.

Easy, Intuitive Tool for Non-Project Managers
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, quite intuitive for non-project managers
What do you dislike about the product?
As a project manager, the tool is not very sophisticated when it comes to timeline creation and portfolio overview. I haven't yet managed to crack the portfolio view and reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is the one source of truth for all the projects, a place where all timelines are saved and people can go and find them easily. Is not benefiting me more than this yet but I hope it will be more part of my day to day work.

A Project Manager’s Essential Tool for Task Tracking and Team Accountability
What do you like best about the product?
If you're a project manager, Asana is almost a necessity.
It is one of the most effective ways to organize projects. It lets you set up tasks, assign clear responsibilities to team members, and track overall status and progress so your work stays on track.
You can manage multiple projects at once because each project is contained within its own dedicated page. From there, you can create customized tasks in the order they need to happen, and you can also set up sub-tasks when you want to get more detailed.
What I love most about Asana is that it helps hold everyone accountable. Once you set up tasks and due dates, you can assign team members to specific roles. To assign a task to someone, type "@" and choose a team member from the list. Once assigned, they'll be notified in Asana and through their sign-in email address. After a task is complete, each team member can click the checkbox, and the project can keep moving through each stage of the process.
If you're working with someone outside your organization on a project, invited team members only have access to the information within the project they're assigned to. That way, they only see the project they're involved with.
On top of that, you can access Asana in a variety of ways. You can use the website through a browser or use the desktop and smartphone apps.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside to using Asana is getting everyone comfortable with how it works. It's most beneficial when everyone on the team understands how to use it and does so consistently. For some people, there can be a learning curve because of the way it's structured, so it may take a bit of time for the whole team to get on the same page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you’re managing several projects, you need a tool that clearly shows where each one stands in the process. Asana is a valuable project management resource because it lets you view an overview of all projects in development, either from your dashboard or by using the drop-down within the Projects tab. It also helps you stay on top of tasks by offering list, board, gantt, and calendar views, so you can choose the format that makes the most sense for what you’re tracking. If something isn’t getting done, it’s easier to spot where things are falling behind and make sure everything stays on track. And if a team member runs into an issue, they can communicate it to you directly within the project. Overall, it reduces the need to ask, “Why didn’t that get done?” because you can quickly see the breakdown and what’s holding things up.

Notifications can feel excessive at sometime but it works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana brings clarity to task ownership and deadlines across the team. Work stays organized, follow-ups are reduced, and projects move faster without constant manual coordination.
