A list-making nerd's playground!

What do you like best about the product?
I've been a huge fan of Excel for years and will jump at the chance to create a spreadsheet for tasks, to do lists, projects, etc. Furthermore, I am a big-time list writer/crosser-offer. Asana makes it very easy to all of the above things, but then takes it leaps and bounds further by tying in tons of features to help you complete tasks in a timely manner, assign them to other people, add due dates, and get reminders. AND then you get to click that little completion check box and see the task grey itself out.

I've got the desktop version installed on my laptop, the app on my iPhone, and the plug-ins for Chrome. So, there is very seemless integration across platforms and formats. Hard to miss a reminder that way!

The customer support is phenomenal. Plus, all of the FREE live trainings (as well as pre-recorded) are very helpful to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am glad that I leapt right into the live trainings because it does take a little getting used to. Implementation takes a little while and I found myself creating tasks that I then had to alter because I had sort of painted myself into a corner. But to be honest, I have to really stretch to think of something that I dislike.

It's maybe a little overkill for what I'm needing to use it for (I don't have a team... it's just me). But to be honest, so was Excel!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have to do a lot of cold pitching. So Asana is really helpful in tracking who I need to message and what to do after I have pitched.

My business is new, so I don't have any clients yet, but when I do start working on client projects, I plan to use Asana to move the project through to completion in a timely manner.

Project Organization: Projects can be organized using lists, boards, timelines, and calendars, allowing teams to visualize their workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have not found one yet, I will let you know

Users can generate reports to track progress, deadlines, and overall project health.

What do you like best about the product?
I can see the overall flow of a project and reduce work on receiving status updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to utilize Asana to its maximum ability, but is straightforward enough to get rolling on a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the work about work - knowing who is doing what, when things are due, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is flexible, fast and consistently updated and improved. It's easy to customise to suit your team and workflow and works really well across every platform. Moreover, it's simple to pick up yet has massive depth for advanced users.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get expensive if you have a large team. The new pricing bands render automations pretty useless if your team is moderately large and not on the top pricing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We managed all of our Marketing department projects in Asana, as well as across others

Certain functions that I wish Asana would have. Such as automated due dates adjustments when one parent task's due date is adjusted.

what I love the most of Asana is that it is very customizable and it has helped my clients to organize their process and projects

I dont have any thing that I dislike, and when ever I find a bug or a bottleneck I always reach out to support or submit as a ticket so the feature could be added

What do you like best about the product?
We use Asana for everything from organizing workflows to managing tasks and projects. Even internal communications are managed within ASANA. Since we started using it, we have recovered at least 35% of the time that was previously wasted.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps if I have to find a flaw, the releases of new features are not frequent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration is the first problem that ASANA addresses. The second is the ability to see a project from above and with an overall view.
