Effortless Task Management and Team Collaboration

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to break down work into clear tasks and assign them to teammates. The boards and lists make everything feel structured, and it helps everyone stay on the same page without constant check ins.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features feel hidden or take a bit too long to find, especially for new users. There are moments where the interface feels cluttered, and it can get a little overwhelming when a project has too many sections.

Asana helps us keep all project details in one place so nothing gets lost in chats or emails. It makes planning smoother and reduces confusion about responsibilities, which has saved us time and kept work flowing more consistently.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana allows me to keep everything organized and understand how different tasks fit within the timeline, ensuring I am aware if we are ahead or behind schedule. This functionality provides me with a holistic view of multiple projects at once, making task management significantly more efficient. I also appreciate the rules automation feature, which reduces the need for repetitive tasks, saving time and effort. The initial setup of Asana was very easy, which I found extremely convenient. Additionally, I value the integration with Slack, as it enhances communication and coordination with my team significantly.

I think it would be great if you can automatically assign dates a certain number of days after another task.

Robust engine, powering leadership's high-level goal tracking and multi-homing cross-team efforts.

  • November 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Multi-homing and visibility for cross-team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notifications and permissions are noisy and messy to customize. Annoying that some are hidden for adjustments. A universal permissions settings feature would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing leadership asked for data, analytics and metrics on campaigns, visibility into a team-wide 10,000' calendar, projects rolling up to goals and cross-team collaboration tool. Our team chose the platform based on this criteria and so far Asana is performing as a robust engine, driving marketing alignment across these OKRs very well.

Streamlined Task Management with Fun Elements

  • November 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the whimsical elements in Asana, like the unicorns, which add a fun and engaging touch to my daily workflow. The pre-designed templates are another feature I appreciate as they streamline my setup process for new projects, allowing me to save a considerable amount of time. The AI generation of graphs is also incredibly helpful, providing me with clear visual representations of data and project progress with minimal effort. Additionally, the initial setup of Asana was very easy for me as it provided a step-by-step guide, ensuring that I could navigate the system without confusion and get my projects up and running quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how assigning tasks to multiple projects is handled. Additionally, assigning multiple owners to a single task without creating duplicate tasks is a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to keep tasks organized, assign tasks, and communicate updates efficiently, saving time on task management for multiple client projects.

Effortless Project Management for Complex Teams

  • November 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it easy to manage complex and multi-faceted projects with a lot of moving pieces. Their functionality is robust and it feels like they've thought of every little thing. Great for multi-layered teams to delegate and cross manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
With so much functionality and a comprehensive feature suite it can be overwhelming to learn and get started. The onboarding tutorials aren't the most streamlined and clear to make navigating the platform intuitive and seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
staying organized during multi-month long projects can be tedious and challenging. Asana makes it easier to make sure things get done on time and correctly, and they make it fun too with the embedded gamification. Asana allows us to process the logistics of complex deliverables that otherwise would be a nightmare.

Smooth Task Transition, Needs Better Terminology

  • November 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Asana's user experience and the overall feel of the platform. The ability to switch between tasks feels very smooth and efficient compared to other tools I've used, allowing me to jump between projects and tasks seamlessly. I love how it allows me to add tasks to projects, create dependencies, and make them visible. This feature is integral to my daily activities, enhancing my productivity by saving time and reducing the number of clicks needed to manage tasks effectively. The immediacy of transitions within Asana not only saves time but also contributes to a pleasant work experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like the terminology in Asana being too rigid. For instance, the term 'Project' is not always appropriate as sometimes I use it just as 'Boards'. Additionally, I find the Goals feature not particularly intuitive. It lacks the cohesive feel of the rest of the Asana experience and does not link to tasks very well. Furthermore, when using Asana in conjunction with Miro, I experience the integration to be very slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to structure topics for meetings and track action items efficiently, facilitating smooth transitions between tasks and projects, enhancing my productivity.
