What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use, yet has robusts features if needed. Cheerful color scheme and "delight" makes it easier to get team to adopt it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was the ability to have templates used universally! Not just in one project
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to keep a whole team on track and have visible deadlines had been extremely difficult using just Google Docs, getting my team onboarded into Asana is really helping streamline things and decrease my stress levels.
Efficient Team Management with Asana's Multi-Homing
What do you like best about the product?
I love the multi-homing feature in Asana, which allows for easy visibility of the same task across different projects. This is especially beneficial for projects where clients hire our services across multiple teams, fostering collaboration and providing a satellite overview of how all the pieces come together. I also appreciate the efficiency that Asana brings to my team with the use of task and project templates. These templates minimize repetition, streamline our workflow, and allow us to work more efficiently. The integration capabilities of Asana with tools like Figma, Google Drive, and Google Calendar enhance our productivity, creating a more seamless workflow. Additionally, the initial setup process of Asana was very easy, which was a significant plus for our team, allowing us to transition smoothly from other tools like Trello and Monday.com.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some valuable features, like Portfolio management, are only available in higher-priced plans, which can be limiting. Additionally, there's a need for greater administrative capabilities, such as the ability for admins to join, delete, and edit all TEAMS without requiring support intervention, especially when managing teams created by former employees. This lack of control contributes to unnecessary clutter within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for agile project management and client communication, improving efficiency with task and project templates. Multi-homing offers an overview across teams, minimizing repetition and streamlining workflow.
Intuitive and Visual Project Management with Seamless Calendar Integration

Asana is very simple and intuitive to use. Additionally, our team members appreciate the dashboard, as it helps us easily visualize the status of our projects. We have also integrated Asana with Outlook Calendar, which has been a lifesaver for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would find Asana more useful if I could download the Gantt chart for the project timeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been instrumental in helping our department stay on track with project timelines. As a small team with a heavy workload, we sometimes let a few tasks slip through the cracks when we were using MS Projects. Now, receiving email reminders about deadlines from Asana helps ensure that team members remember their tasks and stay organized.

An ultimate task and project organizer, with set of attributes and manageable ownership that make it easy to take up by any kind of team.

Some UI is counterintuitive and some updates hide things and/or limit previous features.

We track with the team our deadlines and projects' completeness.
Highly Customizable with Flawless Communication
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana offers extensive customization options for my task boards, allowing me to tailor them to my specific use cases. This flexibility means I can easily create private boards or tasks as needed and link and reference between different boards. The chat feature is also outstanding; messaging is seamless, and I can effortlessly add files and photos. Plus, the ability to reference different tasks by just pasting a URL into the chat makes collaboration straightforward and efficient. I genuinely appreciate the flawless integration of notifications with Windows and the availability of the Asana mobile app, which ensures I stay informed even when I am on the go or when Asana is not open on my desktop. Additionally, working on multiple projects has become significantly easier, and Asana stands out compared to Trello, which my previous employer used. It's miles ahead in terms of functionality and user experience. Another major plus is Asana’s easy setup, which lets me endlessly customize with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find searching between tasks to be very difficult. With thousands of tasks in Asana, remembering key words is nearly impossible, making the process cumbersome. I would appreciate a feature that identifies similar past tasks when a new task is created, which would improve task management and efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for task management, providing a customizable space to create, modify, and organize tasks efficiently. Its seamless chat and notification integration enhance communication and project handling, even on mobile.

Seamless Task Management with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana incredibly useful for managing our workload across multiple branches and teams, offering a seamless way to delegate, communicate, and oversee tasks. I love how clearly it presents what everyone is working on, ensuring that no task is overlooked. The calendar tool is an asset for managing my daily to-do lists; it aligns perfectly with my work style, allowing me to efficiently check off tasks throughout the day. Additionally, I appreciate the relatively simple setup process and its smooth email integration, which enhances our team’s workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the ability to assign a task to more than one person, as currently, this feature seems limited.

Flexible and Intuitive for Project Management, But Needs Outcome Mapping
What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana to be incredibly useful for project management and project reviews. It offers great flexibility and allows me to set up projects in a manner that suits my needs, which is a huge advantage because I deal with different types of projects. The ability to customize columns in every project provides significant flexibility, accommodating the varied demands of individual projects. Asana is also intuitive to use, making it a breeze to manage a large number of tasks efficiently. The Rules engine is another feature that I appreciate because it automates the setup process for complex projects, allowing me and my team to focus more on execution rather than configuration. The platform's compatibility with Google Suite integrations enhances its utility further, streamlining workflows and facilitating better collaboration across distributed teams. Asana's capability for visibility and transparency empowers seamless collaboration and enables us to follow timelines effectively, ensuring that every team member is aligned and aware of any project deviations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Asana is not effective in managing outcomes. It works well if you have a project built to its template, but in cases where my workflow is not like that of a tech product, some of it has to be managed outside Asana because it cannot be structured properly within it. Additionally, if I have several separate projects contributing to a single outcome, Asana does not allow me to map their interplay effectively since it is designed to manage projects as separate portfolios. Furthermore, the initial setup of Asana requires quite a bit of time and thought to determine the best way to set up a project for my specific use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for project management, providing visibility, transparency, and seamless collaboration for distributed teams. It helps templatize workflows, simplifying complex task tracking, and allows customization to suit different project needs.
User-Friendly with Robust Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Asana because it significantly helps in organizing my tasks and projects effectively. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, which makes handling various tasks much easier. I am impressed by its AI features and rules that enhance my efficiency, such as the ability to make completed tasks disappear seamlessly. Asana is robust in terms of options, providing flexibility and adaptability in my workflow. I also appreciate that the initial setup was very simple, allowing me to get started quickly without any hassle. This ease of use and effectiveness inspired me to continue using Asana and implement it when I started at my new job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't use the phone app a lot, but when I do, it's way too easy to accidentally complete a task by swiping. I wish I could shut that off. The phone app doesn't feel as comfortable as the computer, maybe because I'm scared I am going to accidentally swipe stuff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to organize my tasks and projects. It offers a user-friendly interface, robust options, and AI features that help manage tasks efficiently.

The collaboration features stand out for me; I can easily comment and edit tasks ensuring my team stays on the same page, which greatly facilitates communication and teamwork.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the 'teams' in Asana is a bit confusing at first. Additionally, I find it limiting that a team is required to be assigned for a timeline to function effectively.
