  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana to be an excellent project management tool that greatly enhances team collaboration and efficiency. It allows us to create, track, and optimize the workflow of any project with ease. The ability to divide big tasks into smaller, manageable ones is particularly valuable to me, as it helps streamline the process and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. The platform's feature of assigning tasks to specific team members enhances accountability, ensuring that everyone remains on top of their responsibilities. Furthermore, I appreciate the Asana app integrated with Microsoft Teams, as it consolidates all relevant information and notifications into a single platform, making it easier to stay updated. I also found Asana’s instructional system remarkably effective, making the learning process seamless and ensuring a smooth transition for the team when we first started using the tool years ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the interface could be more friendly, especially regarding color choices, as it might not be visually appealing to all users. Additionally, the location of some buttons can be confusing, which may disrupt the workflow and add unnecessary complexity to navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to create, track, and optimize project workflows. It helps our team divide big tasks into smaller ones, assigns them efficiently, and ensures accountability. The integration with Microsoft Teams centralizes information and notifications, enhancing team coordination.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana strikes the perfect balance between intuitive design and robust functionality, making it an ideal tool for both startups and larger organizations. The onboarding process is seamless, with a minimal learning curve, allowing teams to quickly adopt the platform. This results in clear workflows and improved collaboration across departments almost instantaneously. What truly sets Asana apart is its ability to seamlessly support both day-to-day task management and long-term strategic planning. The flexibility it offers is remarkable, with genuinely helpful automation features and reliable integrations that aid in focusing on the meaningful work instead of battling with the tool. This seamless experience is further enhanced by highly reliable integrations with other tools like Google, Microsoft, and Slack, making Asana an indispensable part of my work toolkit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Asana does not always show an appropriate timeline, which can be frustrating when trying to manage project timelines effectively. Additionally, I wish Asana offered more flexible charts such as burndown charts, velocity reports, earned value management metrics, team capacity heat maps, and phase-based progress tracking to better support advanced project management needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Asana balances intuitive design with robust functionality, improving collaboration and simplifying onboarding. It supports both daily task management and strategic planning, helping teams focus on essential work without battling the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the multiple views of projects and tasks, which allows people to use whatever method works best for them. The integrations are great, the ease of use is a no-brainer, and the simplicity of the platform is hard to beat.

Easy Integration, But Task Assignment Limits

  • November 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Asana's API is more user-friendly with higher rate limits, which significantly enhances my workflow by allowing the uploading of larger batches of data efficiently. The ease of data replication through Asana due to the integration with my replication vendor is a major advantage. I find the initial setup of Asana to be very easy, which helped me transition to using the software with minimal effort and inconvenience. The ability to use Asana in tandem with other tools like Stitchdata and Airflow for data replication and orchestration seamlessly fits into my work processes, making the entire experience smooth and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Asana does not allow assigning multiple people to tasks, which is a limitation in cases where collaboration from team members across different departments is necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Asana's API user-friendly with higher rate limits, which improves data upload efficiency and resolves our previous API issues. Integration with our replication vendor enhances replication processes, although multiple people assignment to tasks could be improved.

Effortless Organization with Minor Duplication Hiccups

  • November 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana to be incredibly easy to use, which enhances my efficiency in organizing business tasks. The interface is particularly clear and intuitive, making it straightforward to understand and navigate. This ease of use extends to my professional work as well, where I’ve found Asana instrumental in staying on top of various marketing and social media tasks that I need to manage weekly. Working with a team, I’ve appreciated how Asana provides clarity and consistency in tracking the progress of writing projects. It offers well-structured pathways that allow me to easily determine where I am in a process and understand what tasks are due next. Additionally, setting up Asana was a breeze, requiring minimal effort to get started. I am so satisfied with its performance that I would rate it a 10 out of 10 in terms of recommending it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had difficulty using the duplication function in Asana because it didn't work like Google Calendar, causing confusion. Initially, I couldn't understand why my duplicates weren't placed correctly. Unlike Google Calendar, where I can create a duplicate or similar task for a different day and immediately change the date and time, Asana requires me to create the task first and then move it to the desired date and time, which involves more steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to stay organized with my marketing and social media tasks. It's easy to use, has a clear interface, and helps track project progress, ensuring I always know what's due next.
