Optimized Project Management with Asana

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Asana offers a very good project management system, which is known for its privacy. The presence of templates makes setting up projects straightforward, enabling me to understand project management better, especially given my different work scopes. The ease of setup is further facilitated by Asana's compatibility with chat programs like Jitsi, allowing seamless collaboration on tasks. I find being able to lay out detailed data plans and being guided properly through different deadlines and target end dates particularly beneficial. Asana fits well with my role as an assistant and a manager, helping my projects stay on track and allowing task assignment without direct intrusion. The ability to keep track of deadlines through timely reminders is another feature I really like. Integration with chat tools further enhances the detailing and explanation of tasks, underscoring how well Asana collaborates with different workflows. It's a product I would continue to purchase because it facilitates smooth team collaboration, assignment, and tracking of tasks effortlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of a voice note or podcast feature in Asana problematic because it would allow me to provide verbal side notes on projects and discuss them more effectively. Having this feature could help me capture my thoughts and progress verbally, which is sometimes more intuitive than writing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Asana organizes my detailed plans, keeps track of deadlines, and allows seamless task delegation, enhancing collaboration and efficiency.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike as such in Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to find it very to difficult to manage tasks and assign them and check the status of it in one place, sometimes I used to even miss out on remembering few key details, because of Asana, all my tasks are in line, workflow is set and intact and I don't miss out on any of my deadlines.

Great for Task Clarity, But Takes Time to Learn

  • November 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I liked that Asana helped me as an incoming employee to understand what tasks were needed instead of a messy spreadsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
It had a bit of a learning curve as I was not used to the UI, and would usually have communication and task features separate, so it took a bit to adjust but I did like it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I previously used Asana in my TEDxUWA role in 2022, and am now considering it for my own company. I like how it keeps everything in one place and streamlined.

Essential for Task Management, Lacks Full Automation

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Asana for over five years for both work and personal life, and I find it incredibly useful. One of the key aspects that I appreciate about Asana is its ability to organize my workload efficiently. It allows me to prioritize my to-do lists effectively, offering an overview of all my tasks and providing daily reminders. Even though I am currently using the free version, it significantly contributes to managing my tasks and ensuring a streamlined workflow. Setting up Asana was straightforward, thanks to the tutorial videos that provided valuable tips, making it easy for me to learn and implement the platform in my daily routine.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Asana's free version somewhat limiting because most advanced features are locked behind the paid version. Also, I would appreciate more automation capabilities to enhance task management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to organize my workload and prioritize tasks with to-do lists and daily reminders, though it's mainly beneficial for maintaining an organized workflow.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the things I like most about Asana is its clean, intuitive interface. It makes project management feel less overwhelming by breaking things down into manageable tasks and sub-tasks. Plus, the ability to customize views (like boards, lists, and timelines) makes it versatile for different workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, I don't have a things to dislike since I am still new to Asana, but so far I am enjoying my experience with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves key problems around organization, collaboration, and tracking progress. It breaks large projects into smaller, manageable tasks, sets clear deadlines, and assigns responsibilities, helping me stay on top of priorities. With real-time updates, task comments, and file sharing, it reduces miscommunication and keeps the team aligned. The ability to track progress through visual tools like boards and timelines ensures that projects stay on track, while automations and integrations with other tools save time on repetitive tasks. Essential for Organization, with Powerful Customization and Reliable Support

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to use, extremely customizable, and helpful once implemented. It can be as expansive as or as streamlined as needed. It works for multiple teams, or just a small group. It has helped me keep track and organize hundreds of currently running projects, with no fear of anything being forgotten, lost, or missed. Asana is essential to my everyday work, and I would be lost without it.
In the rare event that there is an issue, or tech glitch the Asana team is excellent at implementing repairs or fixes immediately so my use of Asana flows without disruption.
Since I use Asana as a main hub I don't tend to use multiple apps - however it's great that Asana has capabilities to integrate with so many other apps and programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's nice that Asana is integratable with so many apps - but that's also a stumbling block when trying to convert to using Asana in place the the multiple things I'm trying to streamline into one place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company runs hundreds of projects. Asana ensures that all information
1. Has a place to be logged.
2. Is saved and safe to be be referenced in the future.

Asana ensures that all projects are on track, and kept organized. It's multi team use setup is phenomenal in connecting the various departments that are responsible to contribute to a projects completion. It's an organizer, CRM, ToDo list, database all in one.
